  1. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 08:39 PM) Hittable in terms of location? Or lack of movement? Speed? 91-92 mph fastballs with no movement down the plate
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 08:39 PM) Wind has nothing to do with how the balls are flying so far. They are just ropes, and that is including the Sox in the first. It's blowing out 15 mph to right. Beckham's double died, and barely hit the wall even though he cranked it.
  3. Nice hit by Rios. Better do a hit-and-run to avoid the DP.
  4. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 08:37 PM) Peavy has actually looked the worst out of the 4. This I didn't expect. Hopefully, he can figure out what his problem is and get it fixed. His slider is a lot better today than in his first two starts. Problem is his fastball is still way too hittable.
  5. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 08:36 PM) Man the ball is jumping again The wind conditions aren't going to help the Sox, as it's howling out to right. We have very little lefty power, while the Indians have a ton.
  6. 4 rockets his off of Peavy so far
  7. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 08:31 PM) Lineup change doing enough wonders for ya?! Can't do significant lineup changes because this offensive roster is freaking awful. Who in their right f***ing mind thought this offense could win in the American League??
  8. Can we see over 15 pitches in an inning today?
  9. There's two double plays already. This is getting too predictable.
  10. Over/under on Sox double plays today is 3.5
  11. Nice sliders from Peavy so far. That cutter he throws is just not good, as that's the pitch he was getting destroyed on in ST.
  12. Holy cow is this team awful. Peavy with a horrible 89 mph cutter after throwing a terrible 92 mph fastball on 0-2 that should have been drilled.
  13. Rios just played that ball into a triple. Peavy's fastball looks pathetic again.
  14. Awful base running by Beckham. 3 hard hit balls that inning, and 3 batters go to the plate. Ugh, we suck!
  15. Ball is not jumping today, as Beckham blasted that ball.
  16. My dad is stunned I was able to predict a ground out to the right side by Pierre.
  17. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 06:46 PM) It's amazing how much better the twins are than us for about hte same money spent. We have too much money locked up. They're just a really good team. They play with a ton of confidence as well. No reason they don't win the AL Central by 7 games.
  18. Some huge changes made to the lineup. Ozzie's really shaking things up. Pierre, Beckham, Quentin, Konerko, Jones, AJP, Rios, Teahen, Ramirez
  19. I just wish these games were more exciting. I thought last year was boring, but this one makes that look like 2005 so far.
  20. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 01:13 AM) The bullpen. Santos!
  21. Keep going through the motions guys!!
  22. This is worse than the Romero game, as at least Romero was nasty. Just too easy of outs right now.
  23. QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 01:49 AM) neither are we. you mean besides being picked to win it all by Rosenthal?
  24. QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 01:45 AM) jesus guys chill the hell out. the angels are 3-7 right now. the braves for the last 10 years it seems started out under .500 and then played .700 after the break. nothing is over, not the season, not this game. Um, the Angels aren't supposed to contend this season according to most projections.
  25. It's like Kotsay tries to hit into a 4-6-3. It's time for the Kotsay DH experiment to end, it was a f***ing dumb idea to start with.
