Remember that Bernstein has great sources within the Sox/Bulls organization. He was the only person who was saying that Thome's rib cage injury was worse than what was being told to the press.

Well, that was boring as hell. Outside of Buehrle's no-hitter, Bonds record breaking homer, Thome's 500th homer, and Lilly's glove throw, this was about the most boring baseball season of my life.
