QUOTE(diegotony06 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 09:02 PM) I'm more worried about who we trade off, and the players we get in return. I could care less what the Cubs do or who they get. For on the field purposes the rest of the year, I just don't want to see the Cubs make the playoffs.
-
QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 09:02 PM) Why do you have a man crush on Murton? Need another OF with no arm. Because he actually has a good swing and can spray the ball to all fields.
-
QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 09:01 PM) Power arm = Mac? Hopefully they don't dump him on us. Unless it's for Murton, I don't want to give them MacDougal. I think with him on the mound today, he won't be getting traded to the Cubs.
-
QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:58 PM) Alot of teams are looking at Gagne, Yankees, Indians, Cubs and Braves. Whoever gets him is going to have to give up some talent because it appears he is healthy and thus far has been dominant this season. I don't see why the Cubs would want Gagne, unless Dempster's injuries are more severe than they say they are. I'll be so pissed if another NL Central team trades away their best player to the Cubs for chump change.
-
QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:57 PM) Who reported that? I've heard the Griffey talk, but nothing on Gagne. Hendry has supposedly told Cubs personnel he's acquiring a power arm for their pen next week, and that's why they're trying to dump Jones on someone.
-
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:56 PM) I heard they can't take on anymore salary past this year. Is that true? Also, Texas better get something good from the Cubs -- he's probably going to be the best reliever dealt in the next two months, and there should be no rush to trade him. If the Cubs want him now, Texas better be demanding a ransom (Pie). Yeah, I know they've given them some restrictions, as that's what made them not be able to take Porcello or Weiters.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:56 PM) Similar to the messages he send KW? Nah, I'm not complaining about Ozzie here. All I was saying is that if a manager wants to have something done during a game, it's not hard for them to do when they're ejected.
-
If you didn't know any better, you'd think Hawk is arguing we're going to lose because of that play.
-
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:54 PM) Ejected. Yeah, but it's not that hard to send a message to Cora if he wanted to.
-
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:52 PM) I can't wait till this series is over... I can't wait till Sean Marshall starts pitching like the pitcher he really is and gets his s*** packed. It's already started to happen to Marquis. That f***ing team shouldn't be even thinking about the playoffs, yet they're in the f***ing NL. I'm just thankful the Brewers have been playing good baseball lately. However, the rumors about the Cubs trading for Griffey Jr. AND Gagne are scary.
-
Soriano's about to outscore us this series. Please throw at him, I don't care if he doesn't deserve it. If we throw at him and break his wrist, I won't say one bad thing about Ozzie ever again.
-
QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:49 PM) The problem I have is NO ONE held their arm out to signal the obstruction Well, I'll take the no arm signal we got from Doug Eddings over this situation. I would be a lot more pissed off about that play if we were winning or it was tied.
-
QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:49 PM) But there was a play at the base. I don't know, f*** it. Entourage is on tonight. No there wasn't a play when the ball was near the right field fence.
-
Can we just never play Thome against a lefty anymore?
-
QUOTE(briguy27 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:47 PM) For how fast Pods is, he makes sure he never makes a ground-out close He's not fast anymore....hasn't been for over two years.
-
QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:46 PM) So you can't stand on the bag if you are a fielder? Not if there's not a play at that base.
-
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:43 PM) That's why I don't know what the f*** fathom is talking about. Where is he saying Uribe touched somebody? It wasn't after he tagged out the guy at second and started the first rundown -- he got out of the way and pointed towards homeplate. No no, it was right when the ball hit the fence. It was well before the rundown. Hawk makes a good point about not letting the play continue.
-
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:41 PM) Uribe never got in the way. I don't know where that was called. It's bulls***. I never saw the play around 2nd, so I can't comment on that.
-
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:40 PM) Pagan can be safe. but the other 2 tards should be out. DeRosa can't be called out, cause he was never tagged out. Is it a dead ball when there's interference? If anything, I thought they might give Pagan another base.
-
Oh Hawk, STFU!
-
QUOTE(TheBigHurt @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 08:38 PM) GO HAWK! GO OZZIE! Seriously, WHAT THE f*** IS THIS CRAP?! They ruled fielder interference. I know Pagan is definitely safe because of it.
-
Someone needs to turn Hawk's mic off.
-
I just hope we hit Soriano his next time up.
-
Well...the Brewers just blew the lead....I'm not a happy camper.
-
How hard is it to show the replay where they ruled fielder interference? It was obvious they called it right away.
