QUOTE(YASNY @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 02:22 AM) Wet ball? It looked like he completely aimed that ball. From the highlights I've seen of his errors this year, a lot of his throws are tailing like that away from the 2nd baseman/1st baseman.

Cintron's swing is getting very long right now.

QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 02:13 AM) This is bad, Javy usually sucks the third time around, not the first and second... This isn't bad! Vazquez has pitched out of 2 jams so far. This is a great lineup he's facing, and one of the things they're best at is raising a pitcher's pitch count.

Great pitch!

Damon will score on a single to left here. Make a big pitch Javy. Jeter will take a called 3rd. If he keeps throwing that outside fastball, Jeter's going to crush one the opposite way.

These umpires are absolutely clueless.

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 02:06 AM) Not to sound like Hawk, but there are two different zones. The 2nd pitch to Thome almost hit posadas shoelasses and was called. And then Javy hits the corner and blue sticks his nose at it. And with Vazquez having no leeway on the corners, the Yanks are smart enough to wait for a pitch over the heart of the plate.

DJ made a great point. This Yankees lineup can really wear out a pitcher.

Flash won it, but he immediately traded it for the rights to a Francisco Liriano signed picture.

QUOTE(Felix @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 02:00 AM) No, no he wasn't. He took a bad line when running it down, but he wasn't on the warning track, nor was he playing too deep. HE WAS EXTREMELY DEEP THERE! He plays everyone about 15 feet from the warning track.

QUOTE(Maverick0984 @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 02:00 AM) cano did that again???? wth Yep...you'd think maybe we'd shade him in a little bit in left field. It's amazing how many runs our corner outfielders have cost us this year.

Get this pathetic player off the field! That should have been a routine pop up, but he's playing a lefty on the warning track.

A couple of hard hit outs. Mussina looked very hittable that inning. I really wish Dye was hitting 3rd on this team, but our 1-2 guys haven't gotten on consistently enough for that to be a good idea.

QUOTE(Felix @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 01:49 AM) Lovely strike zone tonight... If this umpire continues to suck tonight, Ozzie needs to get ejected.

QUOTE(Jimbo @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 01:45 AM) is there any team that dinks and doinks hits more than thte twins, no wonder they suck in the playoffs away from home. Castillo and Punto are doing an amazing job at setting the table for their main guys.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 01:43 AM) Mack would have bounced that ball off of his ass, somehow. That was actually a line drive that could have easily been misread.

QUOTE(Jenks Heat @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 01:42 AM) I was being a smartass. He didn't pitch in the postseason. I don't know how anyone can watch our main guys who pitched so much last year and not think it has effected their arm strength.
