Angels won't trade Shields for someone with a 9 million dollar a year contract. He's far too valuable to them, and they can spend their money to get a better pitcher for maybe one million dollars more per season.

I'm just thankful that Garland very likely had his career year in a season that led to a World Series championship.

Gotta give credit to the Tampa guys on their homer though. They're not trying to pull everything at the plate right now.
