I've been looking over the lineups today, and I have to say that most of the teams don't have a lot of talent. I've been impressed with the lineups of the Cubs (sad to say), Mets, and Phillies. Also, I'm shocked by how many relievers that have pitched today that I've never heard of.

Name recognition is a beautiful thing for people sometimes.

Anyone else notice that Marte came in and gave up the go-ahead hit today?

I don't buy this rumor, but if it's true, it's a terrible trade for the Cubs. Carlos Lee isn't exactly a proven winner. Also, he's a free agent after this season. Giving up 3 of the best young players in your organization for Carlos would be dumb!

I LOVE how we can have more lefties in the lineup against tough righties who have potentially dominating sliders.

Garland looks terrible lately.

We'd much rather be in this position then worrying how Felix Diaz or Arnie Munoz will do as the 5th starter.
