  1. Nice play by Crede. Hunter doesn't seem nearly as fast as he used to be. Batista has one thing in mind here.
  2. Scary situation here.
  3. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 02:03 AM) I have this really bad memory of Hawk saying "Go get em Mark Buehrle" in a game at Seattle a couple years back. I think Mark gave up the lead and basically the game the inning after that. Haha, I remember that game. I think he gave up like 8 runs in the 5th inning, and our team made all sorts of errors. I'm not sure who was pitching for Seattle that made Hawk say that.
  4. QUOTE(allupons @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 02:00 AM) anybody else realise kyle orton is in the background when they zoom in on right handed hitters How can anyone notice him if he's not at a bar with skanky girls all over him? The only times I remember seeing Orton are in those pictures or when he's chasing a defensive back.
  5. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 01:59 AM) Watching a replay of that pitch. Jim is a freak. The scary thing is that when it gets warm out, I predict he hits more homers to the opposite field. I honestly didn't think he got all of that.
  6. THOME!!!! It didn't even seem like he got all of that.
  7. Thome might as well just guess high fastball here, and hope he hits it.
  8. QUOTE(Felix @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 01:48 AM) I haven't seen any really horrible calls by the ump.. Just me though. The Thome called 3rd was a little off the plate, but it wasn't a horrible call. These pitchers have just been awesome...umpire hasn't had a big impact.
  9. I can't believe that DJ said that Anderson has to "suck on that one".
  10. That was too predictable.
  11. Ha...think he has Uribe set up for the low change?
  12. Got a break there. A guy like Uribe needs to turn it up for Santana's heater. Uribe's not touching his offspeed stuff anyways.
  13. Damn....Santana's such a great athlete. Most pitchers would have thrown that ball away.
  14. Just tremendous ABs from Crede so far.
  15. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 01:36 AM) This is a fun game to watch as long as Buerhle doesn't give up a run, haha. Yep...it just has the hopeless feeling that all it takes is one swing from the Twins, and the game's over (much like the Garcia/Santana game from last year). Santana doesn't have close to his best stuff tonight. We can get to him, just have to have good ABs.
  16. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 01:34 AM) Man, gameday is going uber slow. Pods misread a ball? Nope. The ball was a rocket that one-hopped the wall. Pods played it well, and Batista had no chance to go for a double.
  17. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 01:32 AM) Now that was pathetic... ?
  18. Time for Buehrle to pick off a runner.
  19. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 01:30 AM) We scored 7 runs with 10 hits in 3 innings against him one time. At least we can say we did it once. Yeah, I believe that was two years ago at the Dome. The rumor was that he had some bone chips in his elbow at the time. Ever since that game, he's been amazing against us. He's as big of a Sox killer as there's been over the last two years.
  20. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 01:28 AM) Well at least the Twins have like the worst offense in baseball... Do you really believe that?
  21. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 01:28 AM) ...and Dye also flies out like a b****... It was the hardest hit ball we've had against Santana in years, it seems like.
  22. You'd think just once we'd figure out Santana?
  23. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 01:20 AM) Quite the simple task there...get 4 hits off the best pitcher in baseball. He's not facing Boone Logan
  24. QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 01:20 AM) Typical reaction by the Sox after not getting much done against Santana - they start getting anxious. Must.....stay.....patient. I was thinking the same thing. Our hitters seem to get intimidated by Santana on the mound, and we make it even easier than it should be. So far tonight, his heater is well ahead of his offspeed stuff.
