  1. QUOTE(3 BeWareTheNewSox 5 @ Aug 13, 2005 -> 12:31 AM) I think the back is finally getting to Crede, I don't know how you can play with 2 herniated discs in the first place, that's why we got Blum I've heard nothing recently that suggests Crede's back has gotten worse. We're not the freaking Cubs....just cause a player is doing bad, it's not entirely cause he's injured!
  2. I'll give the Red Sox this: they sure make a 4-0 lead seem pretty small.
  3. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Aug 13, 2005 -> 12:29 AM) Buehrle vs. Boston = For some reason, he's been throwing a majority of fastballs tonight. Considering he has less than pin-point control, the Red Sox hitters are getting some great pitches to hit.
  4. QUOTE(GBlum27 @ Aug 13, 2005 -> 12:26 AM) Remind me what Crede brings to the table right now? In the last few weeks....absolutely nothing.
  5. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Aug 13, 2005 -> 12:26 AM) Throw a breaking ball or changeup MArk!! DJ starts bragging about Buehrle leading the AL in ERA, and he's given up like 30 hits in 2 innings since. The DJ Jinx!
  6. We need to get someone up in the pen, because Buerhle is throwing meatballs to the plate. Nearly everything has been up in the zone tonight. Crede sucking didn't help things.
  7. f***ing Crede. Nothing like opening the door wide open for the Red Sox to have a big inning.
  8. Will someone please punch Crede in the face and wake his ass up? He's been sleepwalking for a few weeks now.
  9. Buehrle's going to have to start going inside on these hitters. Like I said, they have a great approach against Buehrle.
  10. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Aug 13, 2005 -> 12:21 AM) I disagree with that, even the yankee players were in awe of what aaron did. I would be too if I had to watch Bernie and Womack play in CF most games.
  11. Last few times Hawk started proclaiming Sox players should be Gold Glovers, Buehrle threw a ball into centerfield at Oakland, and Crede dropped a foul ball hit by Manny.
  12. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 13, 2005 -> 12:17 AM) Nope. And I don't think anything from NY was his best work of the year either. Thank Goodness we don't have a biased media. Yep, besides for that first inning of the first series, none of Rowand's catches were truly sensational catches. Sure, he got very good jumps and caught the ball. However, I'd guess that almost any CF not named Bernie would have caught a majority of those fly balls. The Seattle catch basically won the Sox the game.
  13. Am I the only one who is finding it amusing how much press Rowand has received for his defense in NY, even though his catch vs Seattle was much more important in the scheme of things?
  14. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Aug 13, 2005 -> 12:14 AM) Ask and you shall recieve. Do you agree with my statement though?
  15. It would be dandy if we could start to get our 8/9 hitters on base more. They're just as responsible for our recent offensive slump as Pods is.
  16. Damn, that was a close pitch that could have been called.
  17. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 13, 2005 -> 12:08 AM) How many guys do these hitters have a bad approach against? Garland
  18. These Red Sox hitters have a fantastic approach against Buehrle.
  19. Great play by Rowand there. Buehrle better find his control, or he's going to give up some more shots like that. He's having trouble zoning in that outside corner.
  20. Every ball in the air to LF at Fenway = scary
