QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 31, 2009 -> 01:42 PM) No. I am an Iowa alum. Yeah I read that, I just figured since the majority of Iowa students are from Iowa I'd ask you if you're from here.

I'm not going to argue with the 15 yard penalty. Never think it should be called in a play like that, but it was helmet to helmet.

Once again another close call goes to Iowa. That was an incomplete pass. Edit: It's closer than I thought.

QUOTE (danman31 @ Oct 30, 2009 -> 10:27 PM) You probably weren't considering soccer, but I think it's much worse than basketball. I only watch when the USA playing, and I can't even see there is corruption in officiating. As for this book, I really want to read it.

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 28, 2009 -> 09:19 PM) Alabama and Michigan. I like the old school helmets with the numbers on them....and wings. I agree with both.

The Chiefs used to have an all, All-Pro offensive line. Losing them has been part of the problem for Larry Johnson.

I got 16/20. No one I'm kicking myself for missing, but I should've guessed one of them.

How many Chicago Bears QBs since 1985 can you name?
I got 13 and I don't follow the Bears that well.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 24, 2009 -> 10:19 PM) It's not just tonight, they've been losing at some point in every game but two, have played in a close game in every game but one, etc. When two of your wins are because of two consecutive blocked field goals and a touchdown pass as time expires, you are lucky. They shouldn't apologize for it, but it's just the truth. The talent level thing you mentioned is why I still don't buy in though (besides all the close games, ugly games, and lack of offense) because eventually, lack of talent catches up with you. Beating a team with the talent of an Ohio State on the road would sell me though obviously, both on the team and their talent level. I have to agree. But they find a way to win and no one can take that away from them. I think Ohio State will win and put an end to the national title discussion.

First and goal for Iowa with 15 seconds. I think they'll do it.

Iowa's driving really well. 28 seconds to go ball at the 15.

What a drive my Michigan State. The hook and ladder on 3rd and 18, then the 30 yard touchdown pass. Iowa has over a minute and a half to score a TD.

Is anyone watching College Gameday? I'm halfway listening to it but I think I heard Lee Corso say "Arkansas shot their wad last week." Pretty random but funny.

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Oct 19, 2009 -> 07:27 PM) Tamba Hali, Tyson Jackson, Glenn Dorsey... those are good players. I want Derrick Johnson bad though, always have. Being a Chiefs fan, I might have a negative bias towards who is good. Dorsey and Jackson definately have improved this year. I heard someone say Dorsey is a draft bust, which is laughable because it's only his second year.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 19, 2009 -> 06:21 PM) Would the Chiefs consider an Iglesias for Johnson trade? Iglesias was our 3rd round pick this year and is a WR from OU. Last I knew they were mostly looking for an offensive lineman. I'm sure they'd go for a draft pick too. An Iglesias/Johnson deal could be a win for both sides though. If I was in charge, I'd take Iglesias, it'd give Cassel another option to go with Bowe, Wade, and Bradley. Haley eventually wants to get the Chiefs to be like the Cardinals offense.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 19, 2009 -> 11:21 AM) I loved Derrick Johnson when he was coming out in the draft. How has he done for KC? I'd be all for it, but we have like zero picks left. Can he play MLB or is he going to play at the weakside position? He hasn't produced the way Kansas City hoped he would but the organization itself has done a poor job for the past few years. Some call Johnson a bust but that seems a little excessive considering the defensive line has been terrible since he arrived (besides Jared Allen.) I think a change in scenery would do him good.
