Do I have a girl car?
QUOTE (mreye @ Jan 31, 2010 -> 06:03 PM) I'd like to say, "yes", but I drive a mini-van. lol, I'm hoping for those days because that means I'll have kids, but I'm not looking forward to the mini-van.

Do I have a girl car?
I'd say yeah as well. Although when I was in high school some guy got a brand new 2002 Blue Jeep Liberty, he always parked it away from all the other kids because he didn't want it to get hit. But that didn't matter when the first ice storm of the year happened because his car was nailed twice in one day.

MMA Thread
I've only watched a handful of MMA fights and I could even tell that Walker looked to have issues when fighting. Anyone think they gave Walker a terrible opponent to make sure he had a great chance at winning? Whatever the case is, Walker looked to be in awesome shape, especially for a near 48 year old.

Yoga day for me. Watching me attempt to do yoga might be the funniest thing around, I suck so bad at it and I'm not improving too much either.

The Jim Thome Saga Ends
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 24, 2010 -> 12:52 PM) Buster Olney thinks Thome would be a wasted roster spot for us. Olney is really an idiot sometimes. I cannot stand Buster Olney.

All White Basketball League to Form
QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 20, 2010 -> 05:56 PM) I don't want to send this to the Filibuster (I'm the one that would do it since I mod both forums, lol), but there's never been a point in history where white males were denied rights or opportunity or were disadvantaged as a result of having been denied, like women and minorities. That's the origin of those kind of scholarships anyway. One could argue over whether that's still needed, but that would be a different argument. I was in agreeance with Quinarvy about this nation having issues and gave a personal example. I undestand the origin, and it's a great idea, and it's great for those who qualify, however I feel if Donald Trump offered a $1000 scholarship for white males who have interest in business management, he would be called a racist. I could be wrong though, just my opinion.

All White Basketball League to Form
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 20, 2010 -> 11:36 AM) I hope so, or it's pretty much beyond pathetic. Though I was talking with a friend last night, and the African-American community (strike that, the racist part of it anyway) wants to start an essentially all black Charter school. Of course, no one can call it racist, because that'd be racist. God this nation has issues. I agree with our nation having issues. I remember when I graduated from high school, they had scholarships strictly for women or racial minorities. But that's not racist nor sexist. But it someone was to set up a scholarship strictly for white males, it could be called both. This idea of an all white league is beyond rediculous, but if they wanted me I'd probably play.

Do You Believe in Ghosts?
My first experience was when I was 15 (8 years ago). The town next to mine has an old myth that dates back to the 1910's I believe. The husband supposively went crazy and shot his wife and kids, then ran to a train overpass and hung himself. The house is said to be haunted so 5 of us wanted to check it out on Halloween night. We get to the house, which no one has lived in for years, and see a fainting green light in the top floor of the house. After finally getting enough nerve to go into the house, the 5 of us inspect the house and don't find a light in any room of the house. Then we leave the house and go back outside and the green light is gone. Soon after our experience in the house, the house was boarded up and impossible to get in. I thought seeing the green light was strange enough, but a couple years later I was telling the story to some friends and they all said it would've been impossible to get upstairs like we did because the staircase had been missing ever since they could remember. Thinking these people were pulling my leg or something I started asking a bunch of people and they also said the stair case had been out for years. I still don't know what to believe about that house. It seems impossible to comprehend what actually was going on in the house the night we went there. Too bad the house is boarded up so now. I have another story I'll post later.
