  1. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 09:40 PM) I think Caron Butler should have been allowed to take more steps on his game winner tonight. That dribbling thing is for losers. Kind of like LeBron's 5 stepper a couple of years ago against the Wizards.
  2. he called that a strike? I guess he's given them that part all game and not us.
  3. A sick and twisted part of me likes to see Hawk get upset like that. But that was so close down the line.
  4. Would've liked to have seen Pablo wait a bit but oh well. Swisher is our last hope.
  5. Anderson has had a good game. Boos, AJ must be up.
  6. Avery Johnson is a free man too.
  7. Time to give Reyes his first earned run of the year Big Jim.
  8. QUOTE (CWSOX45 @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 01:17 PM) Totally unrelated....but I can't wait until they implode this piece of **** stadium. You're telling me. I hate to say it but that's the only stadium I've seen professoinal ball played at. And I truly believe they will lose a lot of their home field advantage with a new stadium. They know how to use the turf like no other team, the white ceiling sucks, you never know about the wind fans, it's weird because last year we could feel the fans blowing only when the Twins were at bat.
  9. Not getting the calls I'd like to see.
  10. Neshek, Nathan, Game??? Gotta get something to happen.
  11. Why did Wasserman throw the ball? It went to Uribe. EDIT: Oh he slipped.
  12. QUOTE (Soxpranos @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 01:01 PM) Why couldn't we get Edgar instead of this pile of crap. Because they HATE each other, haha I don't know.
  13. Cabrera up, let's go, make it count.
  14. that ball hung up there a while but Anderson was lucky to get back to second.
  15. QUOTE (WSoxMatt @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 12:55 PM) Anderson 2-3...Uribe Sac Bunt...We HAVE TO WIN!!! When Anderson, Uribe, and Hall have all been productive, you'd think we'd get a win out of the deal.
  16. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 12:54 PM) Farmer: Ramirez unavailable for Toronto due to visa problems. Send him down and take Owens or Bourgoise. Richar probably would have visa problems if he was able to play.
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 01:51 PM) Thornton gets 4 outs in one inning. I think that ties a record. I've heard of getting 5 before, I don't know if that's in the majors or not though.
  18. Hopefully the K that reached base won't come back to haunt the Sox.
  19. QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 01:39 PM) I would rather see Contreras hit than JD right now Contreras would've put that ball 20 rows in, haha.
  20. Nice hit. In regards to the question about speed in the outfield compared to other teams, yeah we're relatively slow. But not as bad as the outfield of Lee, Everettt, Ordonez about 4 years ago.
