*Official* Work Out Thread
Doing my first week of Body Beast and wow is it killing me! I've done P90X, P90X2, and P90X3 for the last 5 years and it's gotten pretty routine and stale for me. This is quite the nice change of pace so far. EDIT: I see it's already being talked about. I've had 2 friends do and they absolutely love it. Both of them have gained a lot of muscle mass and look extremely successful from this. Plus it's not very expensive either.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Mar 25, 2016 -> 11:18 PM) Yep, no one can have their own opinions and everyone hates it because everyone is taught to like Marvel and this is too dark. Everyone has biased opinions but yours are completely untainted. Marvel and DC movies are so much different from each other, I don't even like the compare them. I get tired of the constant "who's side are you on" question. I'm pretty sure both probably want the other to be successful. If each company starts putting out bad movies, the Superhero phase will die out, which it will eventually do anyway sometime in the future. But until then, if both companies make great movies, the competition will only help both franchises financially.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Mar 25, 2016 -> 11:14 PM) You have to establish possession in the front court. Just having the ball go past half court isn't enough. I'm sure that's true, but that didn't even cross my mind when I made my initial comment about the game getting out of hand. If only Michigan State hadn't lost............haha

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 25, 2016 -> 10:50 PM) Ben Affleck and Jeremy Irons were great. Gal Gadot was good. Otherwise that might have been the worst film I've ever spent money at the theater on. Holy hell. It just tried too hard in every way. Give Nolan any amount of money to helm the DCEU. In other DC Film news, still amped for Suicide Squad and the Lego Batman trailer was great. I don't think Gal Gadot was very good imo. I think she was serviceable but I worry about her being a lead role Wonder Woman. I like her appearance but she had like 15 lines and I thought they were pretty monotone. .....wow am I becoming pathetic looking at dumb things haha.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Mar 25, 2016 -> 10:55 PM) It did cross, but it never touched an offensive player, and I think that's required to stop the count. Not saying you're right or wrong but the announcers would be wrong since they said Syracuse caught a break there. I took games and officiating as a class like 10 years ago, but forgot what the rule is.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Mar 25, 2016 -> 10:51 PM) You mean where the ball stayed in the backcourt for 10 seconds? The ball looked like it crossed the half court line. Nevertheless it was sort of a Northern Iowa Ultra Lite collapse if this were a beer.

Refs really helped Syracuse down the stretch minus the steal that looked inbounds with 11 to go.......

QUOTE (Tony @ Mar 25, 2016 -> 02:29 PM) Yeah, you are in a a rather large minority there. Captain America 1 is one of my 3-5 least favorite MCU movies along with Incredible Hulk, Ironman 2. Captain America 1 is around the same spot as Ironman 3 and Thor 2 in my rankings.

After having a night's sleep, I've become more annoyed with all the side story lines that never get finished. I still think the cinematography is great, but good grief the movie jumps around. It's like listening to a drunk guy at the bar tell you random stories but never finish it. Just goes on to the next story.

Saw Batman v. Superman tonight. I was worried after reading some of the critic's reviews. After seeing it, I can understand their views, but it didn't stop me from liking it. Not really spoilers but I'll black out my comments anyway.

This guy is a proud Northern Iowa alum with a terribly hoarse voice now.

How was the officiating in the Notre Dame/Michigan game? I'm too busy watching Northern Iowa.

QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 17, 2016 -> 11:21 PM) Seton Hall looks brutal. Whitehead like 3/15 It was easy for me to take Gonzaga in the matchup. 1. Gonzaga has a lot of post season experience compared to Seton Hall. 2. Denver is much closer to Spokane. 3. Spokane is a lot closer to Denver in comparison to altitude. 4. This game didn't start until basically 11:00 EDT for Seton Hall compared to 8:00 PDT for Gonzaga.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 14, 2016 -> 08:24 PM) That was so fantastic. I'm amazed Fox greenlit so much. It's paying off. I think Fox allowed so much because of the combination of 1. It didn't even cost $60 million to make meaning it wasn't that much of a risk. If Deadpool would've had a $150 million budget, the movie possibly would've been PG-13 to appeal to a bigger audience. And 2. After that Fantastic 4 debacle, it was noted Fox was extremely controlling and wouldn't let the director do his type of movie. Fox seems to do the exact opposite with Deadpool and look the other way instead. Just my views on it.

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 14, 2016 -> 06:30 AM) Were we ever told who Francis worked for? People against mutants? Yeah that was the one big complaint on the movie for me. Didn't completely understand that.

QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Feb 9, 2016 -> 02:06 PM) I'm actually more offended that someone started a petition to make a PG-13 rated film. Are parents today that afraid of telling their kids "no"? Yeah me too. Last night there were probably close to 10 kids easily under 16 at the movie. Since I had already seen Deadpool I knew this movie would bring a lot of uncomfortable situations for the parents. But that's what they get for taking kids to it. Absolutely no way they could've made it PG-13 without cutting out part of the plot along with 30 minutes. The movie was only 1 hour 45 minutes to begin with. Boxoffficemojo.com has Deadpool estimated at $135 million this weekend. If even close, that's amazing. I figured it be around the $90 million mark.

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 8, 2016 -> 10:48 AM) The Deadpool marketing has been great but to call the lady a whore is out of line. My bad if that's not Deadpool official. I don't think it's official. When I checked a few weeks ago when the story came out, that Deadpool account didn't have many followers. Now the account is near 10,000 followers.

If The Sox Moved
Chances are I'd probably still be a White Sox fan since I didn't grow up with them as a local team. It just depends on the moving circumstances though. If I had to pick another team it could be the Royals since I'm already a Chiefs fan.

Freddy Garcia To Retire
I watched that in silence whIle working out. Didn't realize he was retiring. As always, thanks for 2005, the greatest season I've witnessed.
