  1. Lol that KC defensive TD covered the spread too.
  2. Jose is having one heck of a year. His rankings in the AL are: 4th in hits 7th in 2B's 3rd in 3B's 11th in He's 7th in RBI's What a season for him.
  3. Typical Chiefs luck...... Just as you get super excited about how the team is playing, Berry ruptures his achilles and is done for the year.
  4. Before I go out and buy Madden 18, does anyone like/dislike it? I haven't owned a Madden game since Madden 07 or something. Also haven't played one in at least 5 years. Just wondering, thanks.
  5. I rarely post in this section of the forum because I really don't like getting into arguments on views, ideologies, etc. I also don't follow news very often anymore and it's made me such a happier person. What happened last weekend was basically impossible to not follow along with. It's so disgraceful that we have people in this country in some capacity think it's alright to either be or pretend to be a Nazi. Idolizing Hitler is so far off and makes me sick. Both of my grandfathers fight in World War II and to me, there is nothing more disrespectful to that generation, especially the WWII vets who are still alive. As far as Trump's comments about the situation, I can see why people are upset about it. I'm probably in the minority but I can also see why he blames both sides. Before I get thrown off the forum let me say that if I was given the opportunity to be there, I definitely would've shown up and supported the protesters to these hate groups. But I wouldn't have brought weapons to this demonstration. Seeing both sides bring weapons shows that each were looking for a fight. While I entirely blame these white supremacy groups, I also do not think the protesters are innocent in this fight. The one's who were actually fighting at least. Just the feelings.
  6. I guess I'll be the hater of the group even though I really liked the movie. I thought it was awesome. My top 5 are: 1. Avengers 2. Civil War 3. Guardians 4. Winter Soldier 5. Guardians 2
  7. I've been reading about the possible sign and trade. The Jazz fans on "jazzfanz" think Hayward owes it to them to do a sign and trade. I don't quite believe that. It's a business and people chase rings. I also believe getting Crowder back would be absolutely amazing for Utah. 14 points a game and superior defense to Hayward.
  8. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 5, 2017 -> 07:24 PM) Please tell me this is just utah fans being delusional and emotional? Lol it's probably sarcasm. I saw 2 of them talking about it. BTW Lyles is no longer on the Jazz. He fell out of grace with them towards the end of the year. Exum apparently has been wanting a better chance to showcase his skills, now he has the chance.
  9. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 5, 2017 -> 05:04 PM) Shouldn't it be a good thing for Utah? They clearly had no pathway to the NBA finals...so they should just tank anyway? No? I'm being semi-serious here but it seems like that statement would apply for Utah. In fact, shouldn't we ask the question why Utah didn't move him a year ago to maximize his value since they clearly had zero path to the finals? I think it's a huge setback for Utah. Keep in mind they only won 2 less games than Boston did in the regular season in a much more difficult conference. They actually won the same amount of games as Cleveland did, but Cleveland rested players obviously. I'm a Jazz fan so I'm probably biased but I thought if Hayward resigned, they'd be about 3 years away from being elite in the West. Probably just a biased expectation. But man so many fans feel betrayed, I feel a sense of emptiness I guess but I was thinking he'd go to Boston anyway after he was snubbed from an all NBA team. Had he made All NBA 3rd team even, Utah would've been able to offer him a lot more money. Some fans were even blaming Joseph Smith and Brigham Young for not being Catholic becauseapparently Hayward's wife in a devout catholic. Whatever the case, it's always going to be hard for Utah to ever become elite with the free agency trend we're in now. San Antonio, another small market team did accomplish it so there's always a chance I suppose.
  10. I'm definitely OK with the offseason trades, but imagine where this team would be with Sale pitching every 5 days instead of Covey who basically gives up a run an inning.
  11. Big Black from Rob and Big died at 45 today. Do work son! RiP
  12. That's annoying. Stopped watching the game when they were up 2-0.
  13. I liked Guardians 2. If you liked the first, you'll probably like this variation too. I can understand where some of the criticism is happening but I still think it's a good movie.
  14. Yeah I'm the same way as most of you. I've lost interest in their direction the last few years especially. I feel that they're deeply afraid of unintentionally offending anyone too. It just doesn't work for me unless it's actually a game.
  15. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 3, 2017 -> 11:42 PM) But he did coach Bulls fan favorite Kirk Hinrich who put up some good career numbers with Da Bulls. UNC has always had its way in recruiting. The Heels don't get necessarily the top 5 guys (though there are exceptions of course like Hansbrough and others) but they have their niche areas where top 30 players commit to them seemingly without much recruiting work. Roy made it so much easier on himself going to UNC where he's recruited effortlessly compared to KU where he signed a ton of great players but had to sweat out so many recruiting battles. Just my take. Tonight's game. Heels kept it close, never fell too far behind despite some bad shooting numbers, then BOOM, the 9-2 to end the game after the final tv time out. Game, set, match. Not a great game; refs seemed to dominate first 13 minutes of the second half. U all agree or ? Zags had a good team, just got hit by a train the final 2 mins IMO. UNC probably has a better team but they were the beneficiaries of a blown call with Meeks out of bounds which ended up being a jump ball in favor of UNC. Not saying Gonzaga would've won, but bring down 1 with a 1:15 is obviously better than being down 3 with 50 seconds to go. Had the ref who was 2 feet away from this play actually saw this and called it correctly, there probably wouldn't have been a 9-2 run. Just my view.
  16. Really wanted Gonzaga to win but it's looking grim.
  17. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 23, 2017 -> 09:13 PM) Pass the f***ing ball Carter! That final possession was something else. That inadvertent whistle was something else too. Gave West Virginia another possession, hit a 3 with under 2 minutes to play.
  18. QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 23, 2017 -> 08:52 PM) To lose cuz you can't rebound a FT is brutal. Sucks losing Walton but they'll be good next year. Yeah and Irvin came up huge tonight. I've called him a mental midget but he had a great tournament. But yeah that's so sad. I keep trying to tell myself that I guess it didn't guarantee a victory if they had rebounded it, but you'd think worse case scenario, up by 3 with 1:20 to go instead of up by 1 with 1:45 to go.
  19. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 23, 2017 -> 08:03 PM) Wow, that Michigan team has some balls man. Really impressed. Yeah they really played fearless. I'm proud of them. Unfortunately their Achilles heel under Belein has always been rebounding. They allow so many offensive rebounds and that bit them with under 2 minutes to go up by 3 tonight. Really proud of how they finished the season though.
  20. Awesome win for Michigan! Surprised Wisconsin got an 8 seed in the tournament.
  21. I think the reason for Logan''s aging was but I could be wrong. As far as inconsistencies, the X-Men movies have continuity problems all over the place. I've learned to accept it and just look for a good movie, film to film. I absolutely loved this movie. Probably will see it again. Fox has something going with these Rated R movies. Makes me happy to an extent that they aren't in the MCU because we wouldn't have had Deadpool or Logan. I also can't wait for Deadpool 2 and hopefully X-Force will be Rated R too. If it's the end of Hugh Jackman's run, what a ride even though it's sad to see him go. I remember when the first X-Men movie came out in July of 2000, my friends and I rode our bikes to the mall to see the movie, then went to the arcade next to the theatre. Haha my have times changed. Didn't have an end credit scene if anything one hasn't seen it that plans to.
  22. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 19, 2017 -> 10:00 AM) Regarding Iowa, I agree with you. I've been very surprised and they seem to have quite a few young guys that can play. I still think they probably have a two year dry spell from the tourney (but I'm hoping next year they can push it there), but hey, this year has been way more enjoyable then I expected. I'm pushing for an NIT birth. Sucks though that they couldn't have more around Jok...he is so freaking good (from an Iowa Hawkeye fan perspective). Super late response I know, but most Hawkeye fans I know get upset with Jok's defensive effort. I haven't watched many Iowa games this year, just what I hear.
  23. What a punch to the gut. The guy had so much potential but ultimately was a headcase.....
  24. My Top 5: 1. Home Alone 2. Rocky 4 3. Elf 4. Jingle All The Way 5. Home Alone 2 Does Deadpool count? I forgot if it's around Christmas. I remember they had some Christmas references but I'll leave it off the list.
