  1. I thought the same thing.......why even talk about Graveman being perfect in save opportunities.
  2. lol White Sox baseball at its finest.
  3. 2 of them came with Billy Hamilton batting behind him vs Minnesota.
  4. I'm 100% down for this. Intra-city and intra-state (and intra-country for Canada) rivalries can happen in every division. I was looking at North, South, East, West, but didn't like my South division. I think I had Houston, Texas, Atlanta, Tampa Bay. Miami, Washington, Baltimore, and Nashville*. Awesome job!
  5. Gotta have more participation trophies! Yay we won the AL South! White Sox obviously won't be in that divison but you get what I'm saying.
  6. I completely agree. I know it won't go this way but say Montreal and Nashville get expansion teams, if you wanted to keep American and National Leagues, which I assume because there's nearly 125 and 150 years invested in each league. AL East) New York, Boston, Baltimore, Tampa Bay, Toronto, Detroit, Cleveland, NASHVILLE AL West) Chicago, Kansas City, Minnesota, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Seattle, Houston, Texas NL East) New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Miami, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, MONTREAL NL West) Chicago, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Arizona, Colorado Now if expansion teams go to Salt Lake City, Portland, or any team west of the Mississippi, this won't work. Either way it's fun to imagine and wait and see how they'll screw it up in a few years.
  7. I feel incredibly dirty being excited about the Sox chances in this terrible division. Both Central's are awful. When the league expands to 32 teams I pray they go to 4 divisons of 8 and just get rid of both Central divisons. But the Sox are in the thick of this race now.
  8. May should've been a relatively easy schedule. No excuse not going 18-11 minimum. Dropping 3 of 4 vs KC and 3 of 4 vs Detroit really killed it. Not to mention playing to lose on the last game against Minnesota when they could've swept them.
  9. Those were both nice plays by two non outfielders. I'm more jealous they can play out of position and make good plays.
  10. Good luck to him, the Sox are doing playing the Rays this year.
  11. First and foremost I hope he'll be ok. That being said, this team missed an enormous chance to trade him over the off-season. He actually had a very good second half and it was probably the highest trade value since his rookie season. There's always going to be some freak injury or accident with this guy, just how it is. I said at the beginning of the season, "Is there anyway the quartet of Anderson, Moncada, Jimenez, and Robert play a combined 500 games?' That answer is hell no and 400 isn't looking great either.
  12. He's gone from 10 career intentional walks to 12 today.
  13. lol looks like the white flag will be waiving if the Sox cannot score this inning with Colome warming up.
  14. Well, we can assume that Benintendi will be walked again if first base is open.
  15. Can't believe I miss Luery.
  16. Well, they must be content with winning 2 of 3. 6-9 in this lineup all batting under .200, yikes!
  17. Yeah that was a super smart bunt. They obviously assumed he was done trying that after the pickoff.
  18. WOW. COLOR ME SHOCKED!!!!
  19. lol this crap has been going on for two decades.
  20. Jason Kubel, any time I made a negative comment about him he'd either rip a double or hit a bomb.
  21. Since this team cannot execute when it matters, the Twins will win it in extras.
  22. I don't believe they can go 18-11 this month, but if they can, a record of 26-32 and hopefully being 6 games or less out can potentially give them a chance. But honestly I'm so over everyone in this organization, I don't mind losing and just not caring. Last year was such a purgatory of a season, at least it's been straight up hell this year. I think we know what this team is and it sucks.
  23. OK guys, time to make some money and bet on the Sox to blow it!
  24. lol don't get me wrong because the White Sox suck, but it feels like we're always on the losing end of judgment calls.
