  1. Andy Gonzalez and the 2007 White Sox will always hold a special sadness to my fandom. Last year and this year are absolutely horrendous though.
  2. I think rock bottom is them somehow becoming the team they were supposed to be from here on out. Finishing with another roughly .500 record, which means we'll be doing the same ol' nonsense next year. At a very near point I'm unfortunately going to hope for 100+ losses because the incompetence of this organization is elite. I know this is a White Sox board, but I'm so lucky to at least root for the Chiefs since around the same time I started liking the White Sox in 1993. The Chiefs are a night and day difference with how they're ran under the Andy Reid era.
  3. BURGERTIME! That was an old arcade game back in the day.
  4. I am far from an MJ fan, never liked him, but even I can't deny he's the greatest ever. Winning 6 Championships in spite of this owner lol.
  5. Diekman is only useful if MLB had a 10 run mercy rule. You're down by 7 or 8, put him in, it'll be over soon.
  6. What's the deal with Robert getting rung up on pitches outside the zone? It's ridiculous.
  7. 3-0 balls that are called strikes are so annoying.
  8. There's no way the quartet of Anderson, Jimenez, Robert, and Moncada play 500 games combined in a season, this there?
  9. Luery is eventually going to get signed by Minnesota or Cleveland, right?????
  10. I'm fine with it. Whatever gets Luery to play less isn't a bad thing.
  11. Kansas City also had a defensive touchdown and a punt return all the way to the 5 yard line.
  12. As the residential Chiefs fan here, I was listening to a podcast a month or so ago and the KC beat reporter sort of hinted that Bieniemy doesn't interview well and has even been a bit combative during interviews. No idea what that actually means or if it's even true. The guy deserves a shot you'd think, but everyone assumes Andy Reid runs the show there. Unfortunately to me it seems Matt Nagy might've indirectly stalled Bieniemy's path to a head coach job because of his lack of success in Chicago. It might be best for Bieniemy to go to a defensive minded head coach so he's able to have much more control on the offense. I don't see him back in KC next year but definitely hope he has success. The man's a motivator and all the offensive players rave about him.
  13. Sorry you've had to go through that. I've also had to go through something similar with my kids' mother. I was pretty fortunate that my attorney was able to cut through the b.s. when it came to a custody battle. Even then, it was a struggle to get 50/50. Not picking a side with the Clevenger situation, but if it comes out to being true, especially with the child abuse, I hope to never see him in a baseball uniform again.
  14. He played 41 games there last year. I forgot Polanco was at 2B last year. It was more of a question on Lewis because he was touted to be the future SS and obviously Correa will now be that.
  15. So is Royce Lewis going to play Second Base if he's ever healthy?
  16. It hurts seeing him go, but he's been a true professional and deserves a chance at playoff success with a more competent franchise.
  17. I wouldn't mind them looking into trading Eloy after his great second half but assuming he's on the team, most of his at bats need to be at DH. Pollock more than likely will be here next year so he'll be playing the majority of LF if all goes well. My rough guess for Eloy is 70 games DH, 40 games LF, 52 games IL or off day.
  18. This whole organization is such a disaster, might as well make it a comedic one with Ozzie again.
