  1. QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 08:38 PM) I hope someone on the defense is willing to pay 30k to take Kaepernick out of the game Really?
  2. QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 08:29 PM) How the hell did Jason Campbell compile a career 83 QB rating? He looks like a conservative version of Caleb Hanie. We should have signed Orton in the off-season instead. I am sure that Campbell had a functional OL as a qb. Not this pile of crap.
  3. QUOTE (Tex @ Nov 17, 2012 -> 01:09 PM) The whole time I've been thinking how the hell can the HEAD OF THE CIA not know how to get away with it? If there is one guy in America who should be able to do this and not get caught isn't the head of the CIA? A couple of nice tips for anyone looking to keep a relationship secret that I learned from the good General Create a gmail account, and you both use the same one. Compose messages but do not send. Then the other person comes along, reads it, and deletes and creates a new draft. No emails are even sent. Open a dropbox or similar and just leave documents there. Nothing stored on your hard drive. The fact that people still believe that they have any level of anonymity with any of the these tactics are humorous. The only person you may fool is your non-technical spouse. The amount of evidence that is left behind in its digital format would alarm you. Heck I wonder how many of you have bothered to check to see if those certificates from ssl encrypted sessions are the actual certificate from the server and not the certificate your company has issued who is acting as the man in the middle. In the end the professionals can get this info, no matter the cute tricks that you employ to get around it. And of all people on the planet, the head of the CIA should know this.

  5. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Nov 14, 2012 -> 04:38 PM) Meanwhile Andrej Kaspersky was cited for soliciting a prostitute and public urination. I remember some guy at a company that i had worked at wanted to convert every one of our linux servers to use ReiserFS. The timing on it was great because the creator of Reiser just got arrested for murder. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Reiser
  6. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 12, 2012 -> 01:55 PM) CREW has their "most corrupt" politicians report out. http://www.crewsmostcorrupt.org/page/-/PDF...012.pdf?nocdn=1 They forgot about the representative currently hiding out at the Mayo Clinic.
  7. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Nov 11, 2012 -> 11:01 PM) We have to rebuild the whole offense, I don't think one Olinemen is going to make any difference. I'm just questioning whether or not its smart to extend Jay for 3-4 years now while he puts up a 1:1 TD/Int ratio and a completion % that is amongst the worst in the league. You really don't see how fixing the line will fix thing? Really? Ditch number 23 after this season. Sign a FA lineman. Draft one or two plus a linebacker.
  8. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Nov 11, 2012 -> 10:53 PM) I don't know I'm just thinking out loud. This is something like his 3rd or 4th concussion now. He's not that young. His stats aren't good. And I'm just really concerned that we've ruined this poor guy. He's had no opportunity to get comfortable in any one system. He's been the most sacked QB in the NFL the past 3 years. As a result he's taken a lot of hits and his mechanics have broken down and he's just not elite enough to overcome all these deficits that Chicago has saddled him with. So how is this going to be different with the next qb. Get him a line. We had a chance to get a 1st round OL help. We picked a luxury situational speed rusher. Fix the line.
  9. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Nov 11, 2012 -> 10:48 PM) I like Jay and I want him to do well, I like that we're always in a game with his rocket arm. But his decision making is pretty poor, he forced a lot of balls, his mechanics have regressed and his pocket awareness has regressed as well. He's in the bottom 25% compared to the other NFL QB's in completion % and TD/INT ratio, he's not had a good year by any measure. Why is it such a no brainer to extend this guy for 3-4 years? Thats crazy to me. Well what exactly are you replacing him with.
  10. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Nov 11, 2012 -> 10:40 PM) Flame me if you want but I don't know if we should really treat Cutlers extension as such an automatic no-brainer. Let him play out next year and if he's still throwing as many picks as interceptions then I don't think we should extend him. I'm afraid Chicago has destroyed a decent QB at this point. Or am I overreacting? You gotta admit, he's had a terrible season from a statistical point of view. How about getting him a decent line. Get rid of the TE who can't catch. And teach the OC how to develop a strategy and then figure it out. What exactly are you going to replace him with. He threw the second INT after he was concussed.
  11. The OL and their contribution to the game, holding penalties in in opportune times.
  12. QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 11, 2012 -> 10:20 PM) Kellen Davis, folks Well they keep hitting Davis in the hands. His weakness.
  13. The field is garbage already.. Can't wait to.see the painted dirt in all its glory this winter.
  14. QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 11, 2012 -> 09:38 PM) challenge accepted Then we go back to running into the backs of our linemen.
  15. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 11, 2012 -> 09:18 PM) Soldier Field turf a broadcast story again The accountant, the centennial who owns the team, and the park district think this is normal. Meanwhile Hinsdale South has a practice field with field turf.
  16. Alshon Jeffrey's coming back will hopefully provide another large target. And he can actually run a route and catch a ball unlike Hester and Davis.
  17. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Nov 11, 2012 -> 08:40 PM) Tice is a damn imbecile. I don't know if its him or Jay that keeps calling throws to Devin Hester deep, or throwing it to Kellen Davis when everyone knows he sucks. But whoevers fault it is, theyre f***ing up big time Hester should run quick short slants or act as the safety valve. Our running game is non existent right now,
  18. QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Nov 7, 2012 -> 04:13 AM) So are you agreeing that the current immigration process is s***ty or not? I think we need to work on getting a better handle on work visas and with that a proper path to citizenship. With that being said I do find issue with those who decide not to honor our countries borders and to circumvent the process because they want to. Why do other immigrants have to go through the process and do it legally while others just come over. I have relatives who couldn't come over at the time, they honored our laws. And just because people on the south side with their notre dame tattoos think its just great to travel to Dublin and get a pint and you see pretty pictures of it doesnt mean that its great for all. It was a bit different for my family. Especially those who were in Enniskillen during the troubles. Do you know what kind of jobs they got being catholic when jackasses are blowing s*** up. The argument about the living conditions and the amount of work only goes so far because you could make that argument all over the world. Hell I would argue that countries where there is genocide and war should get preferential treatment over others. So yes to work visa's with path to citizenship. No to just marching over here because of a geographical advantage is had over others in the world.
  19. QUOTE (Reddy @ Nov 7, 2012 -> 12:57 AM) i assume he's referencing latinos The GOP are not anti-Latino. I can only assume he is talking about immigration. The message has been pro legal immigration. I was born in Ireland and immigrated here through the same legal immigration process that others have used no matter of race, religion, or country of origin. As an immigrant I support immigration. Sure would I have loved to have my entire family over here, absolutely. But it didn't work out. Their situation is just as poor and dire as any poor country. Just as my families was.
  20. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Nov 7, 2012 -> 12:36 AM) Proud to be part of the voting bloc that got Prez Obama re-elected. Hey GOP, if you want the White House in the future, stop using us as the boogey man to rile up your racists Who exactly is the boogeyman?
  21. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Nov 6, 2012 -> 11:45 PM) I'd be fine with Mushroom and LSD being legalized as well. It's when you get into the meth and crack zone that I have a hard time supporting. Driving on LSD I hear might be problematic. Then again there is no breathalizer for LSD and my guess that the ACLU might not be for medical intervention to check the blood stream for impairment.
  22. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Nov 6, 2012 -> 11:35 PM) Now that this godforsaken election is over, I fully expect all the loudmouths who claimed they would move out of the country if their guy wasn't elected to pack their bags and leave. Or, you know, they can nut up and shut up and just deal with this "abomination" (Obama Nation), as they'd probably call it. Barack Obama is our president again, and you are an American. Support him or get out. Sure they are waiting for the same blow hards who said the same thing when Bush got elected to get their passports stamped. Maybe the "not our president" anti-bush people can give a lecture on how to let go and support the office. Amazing we have come full circle here.
  23. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Nov 6, 2012 -> 11:26 PM) if they legalized marijuana in Chicago and found a way to sell it through places like Walgreens and CVS, the unemployment numbers would skyrocket with all the out-of-job drug dealers. #theytookourjobs Legalizing marijuana wouldn't put drug dealers out of work. It would put small time drug dealers out of business. I don't care about marijuana, but some of the drugs namely heroin and other drugs that act as a perfect pharmalogical lock for our neuro receptors are a bad idea to legalize. Certain chemicals are extremely addictive because they are engineered perfectly.
  24. The best entertainment is channel 7 doing interviews of the celebs. They just asked Melanie Griffith a question. I think Clint Eastwood's chair would of provided better interaction.
