QUOTE(jphat007 @ Sep 21, 2005 -> 08:34 PM) He leads the f***ing league in stolen bases. He stopped stealing once he got hurt. Figgins will beat him in stolen bases by the end of this year. -

QUOTE(jphat007 @ Sep 21, 2005 -> 08:26 PM) Uh. Our 1-2 hitters. Pods is fourth in the AL out of leadoff hitters. Hito is fifth I believe, though don't quote me on that. You sure can make dogs*** sound like steak. Are you sure you didnt get released after the last Gulf War. -

QUOTE(Felix @ Sep 21, 2005 -> 08:19 PM) Thats true, but again, its not Ozzie's fault that the bullpen blows a lead. Sure, you can blame him for putting in Marte who let up 2 runs so the opposing team is only down by 1, but its still up to the players to execute. So you are under the belief that you should let your pitchers start an inning after throwing over 100 pitches and getting knocked around a bit. Or start the 9th inning after throwing 110 pitches and having a one hour rain delay. Or using a pitcher that quit on the team last week in a one run game. -

Judy got f***ed nibbling on the corners on 2 strikes, and walking people. Much like the other big three pitchers we have had go this week. -

QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 21, 2005 -> 08:10 PM) I think the Indians will lose 3 more games, at the most, this season. They're just on a sensational run. It was obvious this series that their offense is just so much more focused at the plate than the Sox. I'm just grateful we won last night. They hit line drives, the work counts, they foul off 2 strike pitches. our offense, dips the back shoulder, trys to elevate, has no plate discipline, and doesnt shorten their swings up. -

AJ stepping on Boone=Hunter running over Burke

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Sep 21, 2005 -> 08:13 AM) If it was ANYONE else than AJ, I would say it was unintentional, but I have a hard time beleiveing that it just so happened to be AJ that dug his spikes into Boones back.....I love Pierz. This is exactly what I was talking about when they were looking at signing him in the offseason. If he does that to us, we would be screaming, the fact that he spiked boone, Its gravy. Its the same thing as Rodman, he is someone that you hate to play against but man would you love on your team. KW better give this guy a 3 year deal. -

QUOTE(rangercal @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 08:05 PM) Buerhle, Podsednik, Garcia, Hermanson are the main reasons for this losing s***. Not Ozzie. Get a f***ing clue. So after 103 pitches and not having his good stuff Mark is at fault. No f***ing way does any manager keep mark in after that. He gave you six and battled. You turn it over to your pen who has been great all year and you go to battle with fresh arms. -

Hang this stupid s*** on Ozzie. That homer came on pitch 108. Mark didnt have it all night long and battled, then you f*** him Ozzie. You should resign. -

QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 03:21 PM) Most hitters haven't touched his high fastball or his good slider/curve. He's been hurt this season if he hangs his curve or when he gets his fastball down and over the plate (Boone, Sexson). Jenks has got to learn how to climb the ladder on hitters. The minute he learns that he will be untouchable. -
High Stakes: Williams Should Be Let Go . . .
southsideirish71 replied to Wealz's topic in Pale Hose Talk
JR will not fire either Kenny or Ozzie. It isnt happening. As far as JR is concerned this team is a success. 4th highest attendance, even if this team criples into the playoffs do you have a clue on how much more money that is to the team. This was a cash cow season. -

QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 02:46 PM) With the exception of Uribe, who's made an adjustment, I haven't seen any great consistencies anywhere in the lineup all season. Uribe made that adjustment after they brought back Walt Hrniak who helped him get a new leg kick trigger . Walt was here for a short time, Uribe is much better. Imagine if they did this in April.
