When will the Sox score their next run?

Featured Replies

We've got 6 outs left in tonights shutout.

Tomorrow is Santana.

When was the last time the Sox scored in the early innings? -- We're staring a solid 20 inning scoring drought right in the face.

tonight.

book it. :)

Tomorrow.

Seventh inning willie will hit a opposite field home run off the pole to close the margin to 9-1.

Exactly

I think the sox players all had the runs.....

Do we play KC anytime soon? That's right, I forgot, they own us too.

For the hell of it, i'll say the 5th inning of tomorrows game.

I'll go out a little further and say 2nd inning tomorrow, it will be bases loaded no outs, and they manage one run out of it, and that will be it... B-Mac pitches his ass of and leaves after 7 tied at 1

We will get 1 tomorrow off of Santana. I'm hopeful. Still.

Next time we play the Cubs ... maybe.

when the world dosent end

Just a point of interest, perhaps...

Johan Santana's last 2 starts vs the White Sox...

16.0 IP, 10 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 20 K

Last 3...

24.3 IP, 16 H, 1 R(a meaningless 9th inning homer by Konerko in a 5-0 game), 4 BB, 30 K

Just FWIW

I hope you're right, but history says differently...

In Johan Santana's last 7 starts against Chicago, dating back to last year:

6-1 1.03 ERA, 0.71 WHIP, 6.6 K/BB, 11.4 K/9, a HR/9 of 0.51, a BB/9 of 1.91 in 52.3 IP

A bit of overkill on my part...but I think you get the picture.

Probably get that run on a double play as well.

Friday night, 5th innning.

Oh and BTW, I predict one foul ball for Carl Everett tonight will be the only contact he makes.

1st inning, tonight. Gooch oppo.

This is a very, very good question. And, very depressing to consider.

Isn't the guy responsible for hanging the lone loss on him playing in Milwaukee right now?
