  1. He's been in a giant fish tank for a week. He's been receiving air, food and water through a hose and he's been, uh relieving himself, through another hose. Tonight, he'll have 250 lbs. of chains and shackles strapped onto his body and then have the air tube unplugged. He'll need to hold his breath for 9 mins. in order to free himself. Supposedly, his muscles should be almost useless from being in the tank for so long.
  2. Sorry if this was brought up, but does anyone have any interest in this stunt?
  3. Thinking about going to see 'Elefant' tomorrow night at Metro. Why not, it's only $13.00 and I have no other plans. One problem, the show is 18 and over. :puke
  4. Just got back from 'United 93'. I think people feel obligated to say nice things about this movie, or rather feel guilty about knocking it. There is nothing in it that we didn't know before. Basically it's a re enactment, sometimes hurt by bad acting.
  5. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ May 7, 2006 -> 01:43 PM) I'm having some Lou's out of the freezer tonight. Bada bing. I worship Lou's, but, at the one I usually go to they've been cutting down on the amount of sausage on a pizza. They'll put the old wheel-of-sausage on it if you ask, but you have to ask now. Anyone else find this? Too many High-Rise Men in the city, complaining about beautiful, glorious cholesterol... That's the deciding factor on whether people love or hate Lou's. Personally, I like to be able to bite into a slice and not tear off a 2 lb. slab of meat. Ok, that's enough discussion on large meat and sausage for me.
  6. The Roayls are so bad this year they've started taking money on the side. Robinson was trying to sell it as a HR.............for some cash on the side. Seriously though, if an ump can be decoyed that easily, it makes you wonder how much they actually see.
  7. Captain Clutch + Bob Jenks = victory. Can't say enough about those two.
  8. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ May 6, 2006 -> 11:07 AM) Radiohead tickets? I'm sorry to hear that. That makes two of us. Drone, drone, whine, drone, whine.
  9. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ May 5, 2006 -> 05:03 PM) Archer and California in Brighton Park. Similar to Home Run Inn without being overpriced. That's the one. The place and the service aren't all that great, but the pizza is kick ass and very reasonably priced. We make a trip over there a few times a year for it.
  10. QUOTE(SoxAce @ May 6, 2006 -> 12:58 AM) My two favorite: Itailian Fiesta and Waldo Cooney's. (Slav, you know what I'm talkin bout. ) Capri's Pizza is up there too and so is Bob n Jacks. As far as on this list.. Pizzaria Uno I would have to say. Waldo Cooney's on 51st?? Hell yeah, good thin crust pizza.
  11. QUOTE(Big Hurtin @ May 5, 2006 -> 10:36 PM) If Jenks is the closer, he should CLOSE! Off topic, but great GGGR reference. My favorite scene in one of my favorite movies. I didn't watch a single minute of last night's game, I have no further input, carry on all
  12. QUOTE(RockRaines @ May 5, 2006 -> 04:28 PM) Dude, come on What do you care, you can probably walk home.
  13. I just saw the footage if Prince Fielder Pete Rosing Green at the plate. WOW
  14. On the way home after the game, just get on ALL THE WAY up to the very 1st car. Most people are too lazy to do that and they jam up the last 3 cars while the ones in the front are empty.
  15. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ May 5, 2006 -> 04:14 PM) If his head is right, he is one of the most dominant relievers in the game. I am one of the few that really hated to see him go, but I think Mack will be a good player for the Sox. Marte did get a WS win. Sorry but I shat my pants every time we gave him the rock. He's a coin toss.
  16. How about an update on Shingoooooooooo ?
  17. QUOTE(RockRaines @ May 5, 2006 -> 04:12 PM) Thin crust is a better argument IMO, because there are actually huge differences between the pizzas. My favs are Mrs T's in DG and Dags downtown. Also Pats and Pequods is good too. Pequods, is that near Webster Place Theater? Is that still there?
  18. QUOTE(Brian @ May 5, 2006 -> 12:20 PM) How does a Buckeye fan get a girl like that? Notice he called her 'THE" girl, not 'MY' girl. Obviously, it's his sister.
  19. For deep dish, CERTAIN Giordano's restaurants. They were a 'can't miss' at one point. Now you have to be selective about which location you go to. For thin, Falco's on Archer. You've never heard of it and you'll probably never go there.
  20. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ May 5, 2006 -> 01:34 PM) Actually, as it turns out I will be almost doing that. But it will be bowling with a pizza and a PBR (my standard bowling alley beer). I thought PBR was mandatory at bowling alleys. Pro Bowlers Refreshment.
  21. No 'Drinko de Mayo' is complete without my Tecates.
