  1. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Dec 28, 2008 -> 12:29 PM) He's been producing as of late. Currently working on his next album. Funny, I just got done reading an interview with him in Esquire mag where he mentions that he's been keeping a low prof.
  2. QUOTE (shipps @ Dec 28, 2008 -> 08:02 AM) I can understand the rage because I have been there myself but cmon you dont have to shoot someone over hearing dumbass Ben Button. There are two sides to every story. I bet ( and hope ) that the guy probably asked them nicely and they were probably jerks about it. That doesn't justify shooting someone, but like you said, I can understand the rage. Two examples: I was at a Tom Petty concert once, in pavillion seats and of course everyone is standing. The girl in front of us decides to stand on her chair, blocking our view. I politely ask her to step down because we couldn't see the stage. Her BF looks back at me and says " she's not getting down". As you can imagine, it didn't end well. Back in Chicago, I was driving around looking for a parking space once, when I notice a guy sitting in his car, double parked next to an empty parking space. I pulled up next to him and asked him if was gonna park there, he said no that he was just waiting for someone. So I asked him if he could move back a little so I could park in the empty space. His reply was simply "Nope" and he rolled his window up. Again, another bad ending. Sorry, but people ask for it sometimes.
  3. Do you have a link for the dog wiping out that kid?? That's hilarious! Shave the beard by the way.
  4. What's always funny to me about these stories is not that someone got shot, but that someone else was carrying a gun into that particular place or situation. Why in the phuck do you need cannon at the movies?? A gun doesn't accidentally make it's way into your pants. This MFr decided to go the movies and thought "hmmm, I should get my gun."
  5. QUOTE (The Critic @ Dec 27, 2008 -> 06:26 AM) I LOVED Slumdog Millionaire. The story was very interesting, it's really well-acted, it's filmed well, gives a look at some of the seedier aspects of India, and Frieda Pinto is REALLY cute (which never hurts). I'd recommend it highly to anyone. Perfect, I was debating if I should check that out or not. Now I know NOT to watch it, thx TC.
  6. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Dec 26, 2008 -> 11:40 PM) Starter drug? No. Most commonly addicted drug? Yes. YEP. It would be impossible for me to give up coffee. I wouldn't even try. Two cups in the morning is the only way I get out of the house. I could probably go two days without beer, but coffee? I wouldn't make it past 11 am. I hear cigarettes are worse, but so many people continue to drink coffee as they try to quit smoking. Seems like you can go longer without a smoke than without coffee.
  7. QUOTE (jenks45monster @ Dec 26, 2008 -> 11:40 PM) Yeah, he had ALL day to finish the breakfast tacos, just couldn't use the washroom. Not hard at all unless you have serious bladder issues, or if you got bad tacos haha. I agree with what you said about the competitive eaters. That would be cool if Joey Chestnut was the host of Man Vs. Food instead of that Adam clown. While I don't think competitive eating is a sport, it sure is fun to watch. One of those competitive eater guys need to cash in by making a documentary, or a reality show about how they train for that s***.
  8. QUOTE (shipps @ Dec 26, 2008 -> 08:51 PM) That doesnt really sound right if you ask me. What kidney disease would he be dieing from so suddenly? Kidney failure would have been a long process that we would have heard about ,and why wouldnt he just get a kidney transplant? He's been reclusive for about a year. The details are sketchy, again it's a rumor.
  9. There is a rumor floating around that Anthony K. of the Silly Peppers has kidney disease and might not make it. Anyone else heard this?
  10. Time to maybe have a sit down with hubby eh? http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/americas/12/...nger/index.html
  11. QUOTE (BearSox @ Dec 26, 2008 -> 07:54 PM) Well, not just marijuana, but also prostitution and just their overall drug policies. I know it isn't a perfect example as they are one of the most liberal countries out there, but I have a feeling the USA is heading in their direction. Basically, when I have kids, I don't want to ever take them there for a vacation. Don't be scaahrrred.
  12. QUOTE (Wanne @ Dec 3, 2008 -> 03:48 PM) Thanks flavum. What's WBC on March 6th? Was planning on getting a room in Phoenix. How far is Glendale from Phoenix?
  13. Hmm, just watched the 'Throw A Kit' video and listened to the other song streaming on the Hollywood Holt site. I'm not a huge fan of hip hop, but it doesn't sound too much different or better than all the other stuff I ocassionally hear. I thought hip hop had evolved past using the 'N' word and calling women 'b****es'. Isn't that the difference between rap and hip-hop? Educate me.
  14. QUOTE (jenks45monster @ Dec 25, 2008 -> 09:47 PM) I just watched my DVR recording of the one in Memphis. I was salivating over that lol. Al's is probably my 2nd favorite beef next to Portillo's. I thought it was pretty stupid to even try eating that 7.5 pound burger. I'm not sure if any human would be able to eat that within an hour. Agreed on Portillo's. Yeah, that burger was sick. Didn't it seem like some challenges were a lot easier though. Like the 7 breakfast tacos didn't seem all that tough. If I was Kobayashi or one of those other competitive eater dudes, I'd do a tour and shatter all those records.
  15. Jesus Christ!! Will one of you please adopt me?
  16. QUOTE (The Critic @ Dec 26, 2008 -> 01:27 PM) Starting a "Whatd ya get?" thread without listing your own haul is WEAK! I asked for almost nothing and made out MUCH better than I expected to. Here's my pull: Tennis racket with carry bag, wristbands and balls Book - Punk: The Whole Story Book - Heartbreak & Triumph: the Shawn Michaels Story Book - Hitman (Bret Hart autobiography) DVD - Metal: A Headbanger's Journey 2 pair of sweatpants Chicago Fire t-shirt Cheap Trick t-shirt NHL Class of '67 cap deck of "all-American Dad" playing cards Best Buy gift card iTunes gift card HOLY CRAP Dude. I haven't gotten that much stuff in the past 10 years.... X Mas and B Day combined! I got a couple of great beer glasses, cash and gift cards. Not too bad. In our family, the kids clean up, once you get older, you don't get jack.
  17. QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Dec 26, 2008 -> 01:21 AM) So will someone confirm that the only theatres carrying "The Wrestler" is a a small theatre in Evanston, and AMC 21 in Chicago? If the theater in Evanston is the Century, it's actually a really nice, big theater. There is plenty of street parking nearby or you can ride the Metra and walk like 2 blocks. I miss that place.
  18. Did I miss the X-Mas gift thread? What did everyone get? Let's hear it.
  19. It's easy enough to find and smoke bud. For the user, what are the advantages of legalizing it? Do you think you'd pay less for it? With the gov in control of it, I doubt that. You want the freedom to walk down the street smoking it? Do you walk down the street with open alcohol in your hands? Public intox will still get you arrested. If I was a pot smoker and pot was legalized, I think I'd still be discrete about it.
  20. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Dec 26, 2008 -> 02:24 AM) I don't care who you are...you don't pass up 12 beers at 50 cents a piece.
  21. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 26, 2008 -> 03:59 AM) maybe you're just a tank I'm a lightweight.
  22. QUOTE (3E8 @ Dec 24, 2008 -> 11:36 PM) Quite easily, we're not in high school anymore come on My fault Mr. Big Time
  23. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 25, 2008 -> 02:15 PM) I would have looked for the 24 to see if it was cheaper. If it wasn't, I would have bought two 12-packs and had atleast one of them down in 3-4 hours. No matter how inexpensive the beer is, if you have to polish off 8 of them to get even the slightest buzz, it's no longer a bargain. Got a great beer glass for X Mas by the way, luckily I have a few Sierra Nevadas in the fridge.
  24. QUOTE (jenks45monster @ Dec 25, 2008 -> 03:36 AM) Were you watching Man Vs. Food tonight too? The host is a disgusting animal...... but didn't the Bar-B-Q in Memphis look good??? ....and Al's Beef
  25. The only time I listen to music while working out is if I happen to be doing cardio and then it has to be upbeat club music, like drum n bass or hard house. It's weird because that's the only time I listen to club music. If I'm lifting, it doesn't really matter as long as it's not slow, down tempo s***.
