Someone should slap these parents a few times
LosMediasBlancas replied to EvilMonkey's topic in SLaM
I just re read that and what's interesting is that Heath and Deborah have normal names. If they're so hard core for the cause, why don't they legally change their own names to 'Bigot' and 'Racist' and leave their kids alone?? -
I recently switched to a new eye Doctor. Because I'm a new patient there, they want to charge me $65.00 as a 'fitting fee' on top of the price for new contacts. I've been wearing contacts for 15+ years and I'll be ordering the kind I always get. WTF are they fitting? In a year, when this prescription expires, there will be another 'fitting fee'. I felt bad for the woman explaining this to me because even she knows it's BS.

QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 17, 2008 -> 04:31 PM) - few good songs -NO NO NO NO. I tell you the only reason they are getting these high rankings on year end lists is it makes lost-touch publications like Spin and Rolling Stone feel experimental all the while supporting a band that is entirely marketed on a major label. That album was awful. I liked TVOTR back in the day though.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Dec 17, 2008 -> 07:40 PM) He changed his name and it was never disclosed what to. That man had 3 sons (Hitler's nephews) and the three vowed never to have children (and have not) so as to discontinue the Hitler line. I think 2 of them are left or something like that. I read it somewhere but can not remember where. So Adolf and his family were the only Hitlers? Doesn't seem possible. Quick someone get me a German phone directory....wait he was Austrian, no? -

QUOTE (lostfan @ Dec 17, 2008 -> 05:28 PM) I'm pretty sure Hitler had a half-brother or something, if I'm not mistaken he moved out of Germany (maybe to the US, I forget) and changed his name. but there must have been other Hitlers, even before Adolf and not in his immediate family, no? -

Are there people named Hitler? Surely Adolf was not the last. -
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 17, 2008 -> 03:42 PM) Might as well throw in some shards of glass. Grind up some Ex-Lax. You'll find the culprit.

What is 'Seven Pounds' about? What is the 7 lbs. reference? The heart? The brain?

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 17, 2008 -> 03:21 PM) That is pure genius. And also a fireable offense. Dude, if they can't catch the asshole who is stealing lunches, they won't catch the guy making the 'special' sandwiches.
-
One solution for that theft problem: Make a dog s*** sandwhich, wrap it in foil and then a plastic bag. Set that bad boy front and center in the office fridge.

tell me about MGMT? Should I tune back into TV On The Radio?

QUOTE (JuiceCruz16 @ Dec 17, 2008 -> 08:13 AM) Yes, but he wore those guys out with the consistency of his punches, he didn't put them "to sleep" with his sheer power. Oscar is the guy who is closest to Floyd in natural size, and even in his advanced age and being totally dominated he was never in serious threat of being "put to sleep". A lot of guys have got up from being knocked down (even 3 in one round) by Pac and weathered the storm to compete or even gain a draw/win. I just don't see Pac being able to put Floyd's light out, now winning by a tko if Floyd loses his mind and decides to war with Pac then maybe. Floyd's chin has never been given a real good look though, because he just doesen't take shots right on the button very often, so you never know. In any event I would LOVE to see this matchup. Good points. I suspect Floyd must know something about his own chin.

False. The person below me is a neat freak.

Reload the stapler. I find it hard to believe that the thing runs dry only on me every time.

Check twice before you hit send on that text!!
LosMediasBlancas replied to whitesoxfan101's topic in SLaM
So she goofed up by sending the text to her Dad and she's 18 and having sex. I'd say nowadays most dads would be glad if their daughter made it to 18 without giving up the cookies. What's the huge deal? -
I call this the 'f*** the next guy' epidemic. Not coffee related...but How about the asshole who loads just enough paper into the copier or printer to finish what he/she needs done. You can tell they did this because there is usually a new case of paper with one pack open and like 17 sheets missing from it sitting right next to the machine.

QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Dec 16, 2008 -> 02:19 PM) False. I will be tiling a fireplace, however. The person below me thinks Shemp is every bit as good as Curly. Hell no, uh, I mean false. The person below me has dreams about people he's never seen.

QUOTE (JuiceCruz16 @ Dec 15, 2008 -> 11:43 AM) I have to respectfully disagree. Manny does not put people "to sleep" very often. He wars for many rounds and gets tko's. (Barrera etc. much smaller guys) he will trade toe to toe and normally comes out getting the better, but he is not known for big punching. De La Hoya was never shakin' up by one punch the numerous straight lefts that landed right down the pipe was a cumlative effect that wore him down by the sheer number, but not "put to sleep" by his power. Oscar is much closer to Floyd's size as well, as opposed to the guys Pac Man has faced in the past. I would love to see the fight and I give Manny a shot, but not because he is stronger or more powerful then PBF. Morales, Barrera and even DLH, I'd say are guys who can take a huge punch. How would you compare PBF to them in terms of that?

Popcorn, sex and pizza. Even when they're bad, they're still pretty good.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Dec 15, 2008 -> 12:06 PM) False...no real reason. The person below me is trying to avoid going out in today's weather. False. It actually feels like X-mas around here. The person below me is Polish.

So, with Bush's 'flying footwear' incident. Any guesses on what the skits will be this weekend?

Bush has mad reflexes. It's like he knew it was coming. -
The low overnight temp is gonna be 35 degrees around here the next few nights. That's like saying 20 below in Chicago.
