  1. QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Jun 29, 2013 -> 12:29 PM) Haha. Maybe it'll be a good luck charm and the whole season will turn around........and maybe not. I am sorry for your arthritic fingers
  2. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 11:36 PM) I'm pretty sure you'd actually love it if you tried to understand it. That's how I feel . I love baseball .It's America .Grew up playing it , played catch with Dad all that homespun Field of Dreams goodness to it. Played about 10,000 games of basketball. Played football in the street , parks, even frat flag football in college. Always played sports , always had a ball of some type in my hand. No jokes please. But I have to also say baseball is slow paced. Football also is with the huddles and penalties. Basketball so many fouls and free throws I can't even watch the championships. Only watch the Bulls . Hockey is pretty much constant motion and you see so many amazing plays. Hardly ever played it, some street hockey without skates , had a stick, never any skates. Dad would buy hard plastic stick blades that slid on the shaft once you broke the wooden blade and I'd curve the blade holding it over the burner on the stove top. Love watching the Hawks now because never saw them on TV growing up.
  3. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 11:29 PM) Oh yes it is. Hockey is terrible. Even the diehards don't understand all the rules. We'll agree to disagree. I'm a diehard hockey fan and it's not all that hard of a game to understand. Baseball is much harder for the uninitiated.
  4. QUOTE (TheBigHurtIsBack @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 05:33 PM) Echoed. I could give Robin the benefit of the doubt and put it on his lack of experience managing but just having been a player, you would think, would be enough to not mess up some of the very easy decisions he's botched. So it's 2 tickets to paradise for Robin ?
  5. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 11:23 PM) It is June 29th at approximately 1:23 AM (CST) and it's just hit me that f***ing hockey is the best thing going in this town/ #suicidalthoughts Cheer up dude a Championship is nothing to be suicidal over.
  6. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 11:07 PM) Are we any closer to the first draft pick, lol? Indians were almost TRYING to give that game to us (looked extremely tired out there) and Addison snatched defeat from the jaws of victory again. Yea those 28 runs in 2 games sure made them look tired.
  7. Ump makes it 2-2 instead of 3-1 , next pitch perfect De Aza K . This marathon is ova !
  8. On a day the Sox get 9 and 8 runs in back to back games and came into today leading the AL in ERA at home we're going to lose both games.
  9. The comedy continues . Swisher bomb 9-8 Indians.
  10. PH Giambi fly out to CF Bourne advances to 3rd. 1 out. Infield in. Kipnis the batter. Should be tied soon.
  11. Wild pitch 8-7 no outs Bourne on 2nd.
  12. 3 batters 3 singles against Reed. 8-6
  13. Keppinger 3/4 AVG. up to .247 ,coming on strong.
  14. Keppinger the Klean up hitter makes it 8-5 with a triple.
  15. For the last month Dunn has been an MVP type player if he were on a contender. Dunn Last 30 days (26 games) Avg. .284 OBP .418 SLG .625 OPS 1.043 HR 9 RBI 22 BB 21 SO 21 Not counting 2nd game of DH where he is 1/4 2 RBI.
  16. Dunn Last 30 days (26 games) Avg. .284 OBP .418 SLG .625 OPS 1.043 HR 9 RBI 22 BB 21 SO 21 Not counting 2nd game of DH where he is 1/3 2 RBI.
  17. Dunn 2 run single gives Sox a 4 run inning and 6-5 lead in the 6th. Who is this Dunn who rarely strikes out any more ?
  18. QUOTE (MEANS @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 08:21 PM) Not my fault I only had tickets for this evening and for once we're not driving back to Indy tonight, so my wife and can both drink but nope, beer is cut off. No announcement either, majorly pissed. AT $10 a beer or what ever it is, I wouldn't be all that mad.
