God rest your soul Stormin' Norman. I listened to the Bulls on WIND radio when it was Norm, Sloan. Bob Love, Chet Walker, Tom Boerwinkle and Coach Dick Motta. Could never make it past the Lakers in the playoffs but some great teams. Enjoyed Norm on Comcast, his personality shined through kind of like a Bill Cosby type style who loved his music and basketball. Norm you will definitely be missed.

A few hilights. Sox with 3 stolen bases, Beckham , Lillibridge and Brandon Allen. Kroeger and Lillibridge 2 hits, Corky Miller 3 hits , Miller and Betemit with the only extra base hits (doubles). Egbert, Carrasco, Broadway each pitched 2 innings without giving up any runs. Broadway paticularly impressive with 2 K and 4 GO's . Perhaps working on a splitter, sinker or cut fastball that dives ?

I hear these reporters asking or remarking "gee Arod was 25, 26 , 27 yrs old when do stop saying your young and dumb" like we all automatically stop making mistakes when we get older. The Sosa , McGwire , Bonds, record shattering performances were all great fun and drama at the time they were happening. Maybe we're all better off being blissfully unaware.
