  1. I think you have to remember is that RHH who hit RHP good fatten up on stiffs but when you get to the playoffs and face better pitching it's just not easy for RHH to do as well. The statistical advantage of a LHH against RHP helps a lot and makes the pitcher change his approach and if you have enough of them in the lineup a pitcher who has to alter his approach from time to time can't get into a groove by throwing a bunch of sliders away to RHP. The more you make a pitcher RHP face LHH the better chance that they will make a mistake to a RHH because they haven't gotten into a groove spotting the slider. A pitcher might change where he stands on the rubber when facing opposite handed hitters or do other things differently . So the more he has to do those things the less time he'll have to get into that groove against so many same handed hitters.
  2. Pack a lunch for the meeting they would have later on it.
  3. I don't think his batting average would suddenly shrink because of batting 3rd. He would know in that spot if he is just himself he would get a lot of RBI's. We really aren't even sure if Tim just tryies to pull the ball with men on base or if it's just random that his RISP BA is worse.
  4. Doubtful. Hahn has to know somebody has to go and they need at least another solid LHH in the field. Santander is a FA in 2025 so not nearly enough control but a decent track record and he's having a solid year with power , more walks and less K's . He's not much of a fielder but neither is Burger so far. Maybe Santander + w/e for Burger.
  5. If you have the Apple app already on your smart tv any time you use it you're already signed in if you set it up originally with an Apple ID.
  6. Not really plenty of good pitchers can thrive with that speed but you have to keep the hitters off balance with your other pitches and move the fastball around, up, down, in and out, use it as a show me or K pitch off the plate.
  7. Told you he was coming around in the Winner thread yesterday. I've like his swings the last few days both righty and lefty.
  8. I sent the part of the article quoted to my gay brother who has a big following on Facebook. He's not a sports fan but if he reposts it I think it will be received well among his friends.
  9. Just put your cursor over the title , left click and hold it a second . Title will then get smaller and in a rectangular box to be edited.
  10. Drama free last 4 inning with Lambert, Kelly and Lopez combining for 4 IP, 2 hits , 0 R, 6 K Vaughn 4/4 BB RBI ,RS Top of the order really producing. Top 5 had 10 hits. Pollock with 6 multi-hit games in a row. Moncada getting better.
  11. BP with a nice night. Cease struggled but gave up 0 earned runs in 5 . Enough hitting for the win . 5-1 over the Tigers
  12. Baez and Robert a bit similar in the stances . Robert more open but Baez just as far away from the plate.
  13. HAHA Robert not crushing the ball but getting the Madrigal type hits with 2 strikes.
