  1. 4 if you count Moncada and Madrigal. 5 when you would normally expect Engel against a LHP.
  2. Oh so nice of you to back me up when I had 2 other posters telling me 100. Thank you . I said 75-80 maxed out this year barring injury if you count the playoffs. Any idea on Rodon ? He's pitched 42 combined inning in the last 2 years and already at 67 now. I've been saying he really needs get some skipped starts and 5 inning outings to slow him down. I can't really see him going too much beyond 125 this year so I'd hate to lose him for the playoffs.
  3. Pinch run for Vaughn ! Please now that he's on 3rd !
  4. Fucking umpire. Vaughn did everything right that AB except for the last swing and who could blame him for that ?
  5. Imagine how bad it would suck in the ALCS . We'd be on 50 pages by now.
  6. I don't know fathom . I don't pay enough attention or the camera isn't always on the pitcher to see if Marshall was shaking him off. I did just see Marshall shake him off twice against Zunino to open the 9th.
  7. As I have said all along.
  8. This was where you miss Kopech and Engel as a late inning replacement in LF.
  9. Not reallyhe's one of the guys pitching well but I don't think he's gone 3 innings much . Need a guy who can soak up 3/4 innings at a time.
  10. Anything we get from Fry is gravy. I'm talking about another RH late relief guy and a long guy. It wouldn't be terrible to get some depth and have Foster and Heuer in the minors as decent depth.
  11. Don't think so . He'll do his usual thing late inning relief and spot starter but need a long guy for games we are way ahead or way behind and soak up innings to rest starters and BP guys like Kopech and Crochet.
  12. I've been saying 2 . One late inning guy and 1 long guy.
  13. Freakin' Heuer misses his spot twice and it results in 2 hits and 2 runs. Both hits Collins set up outside and both times the pitch went inside.
  14. Nice to see you today !
  15. That was one sweet inning !
  16. Sox still in good shape this game once Yarborogh is out of the game. Chances are the lefties in out lineup will come in more handy against a probable RHP from the Rays BP.
  17. True , he's much maligned for his baseball IQ, but speed kills on the bases just like his fast dash to home with a huge secondary jump on the ball that got away from the catcher and instant decision to go in the 1st game against the Rays.
  18. woot . Zack 2 for 2 against the lefty 2 more runs !
  19. A line drive double in the boxscore by Leury !
  20. I just stated what is odd. 4 steals in the minors. You would guess there would be medical advice against that when he also has to run the bases and play CF. You would think attempting 4 steals is just a strenuous as playing a day game after a night game . I would defy any medical staff to explain the difference. I'm perfectly fine with not playing a day game after a night game but it's easy to explain why it's odd given the 4 steals in the rehab assignment.
  21. There's the pop from Pop !
  22. Ok but if he isn't 100% why do you allow him to steal 4 bases in the minors in the rehab assignment ? Where was the medical guidance there ?
