Via Scott Merkin's twitter: Carrasco will pursue a team that gives him an opportunity to become a starting pitcher again, first and foremost. From Carrasco: "You want to be in a place where you are wanted and needed. The White Sox probably still wanted me but didn’t need me."

Teahen needs to stay at third if we want a really solid year out of him, IMO. Also, I think his defense will improve tremendously there if they just leave him alone. He hasn't played a full year at third since 2006, his best season. This is a guy who had to constantly bring 5 gloves with him everywhere the past few seasons. He deserves a chance to settle into one position.

Teahen just tweeted a few minutes ago and said he hasn't heard anything official.

I love this guy.. he's a great base runner, can draw some walks, play solid defense at multiple positions.... but I doubt the Royals would trade him to a division rival.

I actually think we're 6-6 against them this year, unless I'm missing a series... They haven't been KC 'Chicken Noodle Soup' like in the past few seasons, hah.
