  1. Cliffs AB in Colorado and his crazy baserunning skills. That was just amazing. When the ball hit the ump and knocked him off his feet, he took second. And then someone hit a not so deep fly ball, he tagged up and barely made it into third with a sweet popup slide. I also remember early in the season..Aaron checking his swing and falling flat on his face. I thought that was hilarious. And all of Aaron's slides always cracked me up. And that once Paulie couldn't get the ball out of his glove--so he just threw it at Jose. That would have been the best play ever if they got that out.
  2. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Sep 30, 2005 -> 09:26 PM) Let me continue my luck. Cool, our avators are like...almost the same. Go sox!! Give Garland some early run support and a much deserved win #18!
  3. 2-2. Both losses were in extra innings and should have been won.

I took this...It's bad quality with the glare and all but I thought they looked too funny to not take a screenshot
  5. What do you think of the White Sox organization? What kind of music are you into? Who was your favorite player growing up?
  6. QUOTE(CaliSoxFan @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 05:32 PM) Did anyone see the person that ran into the field when the ninth started? Probably not. Some A's fan fan onto the field just to run waving his hands around because he went from the first base side all the way to right before he was tackled. Was pretty funny acutally seeing this guy get his ass kicked by the security. Lol..
  7. Garland and Zito? best.matchup.ever. I have a bad feeling about this, though. Garland going 4-0 on the season would be just too crazy. He's bound to fall back to earth sometime.
  8. The sox better redeem themselves from yesterdays horrible loss....
  9. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 14, 2005 -> 03:02 PM) AJ Who else saw that studly fall at homeplate?
  10. Wow. The sox are just teeing off cub pitching today.
  11. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Mar 14, 2005 -> 11:03 AM) Does anyone know if it's going to be the Cubs or Sox broadcast team calling this game? The Cubs..
  12. Didn't go to school today just to see the whole game! ..or not.
  13. Wow. That's sad. I don't know what's worse..stabbing someone over the game or stabbing someone because they wouldn't play with you? Psycho...
  14. Hm.. Chigago White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf tries to muffle his voice as he talks on his cellular phone at the Sox spring training facility in Tucson, Ariz., Tuesday, March 1, 2005.
  15. QUOTE(bulokis @ Feb 27, 2005 -> 04:06 PM) garlandfan20, where did you get the pics from? I got those from Yahoo Sports.. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/teams/chw/photos
  16. New official pictures!
  17. QUOTE(Goldmember @ Feb 19, 2005 -> 11:16 AM) there is no way thats cotts... It is. I saw him on the news the other night with his new look.
  18. This is a cool topic. Fact: A White Sox starting pitcher will win 20 games this season. I think either Buehrle and Garcia have a good chance to win 20 games. They have the talent! Fact: Willie Harris will be on the White Sox opening day roster. Wille isn't going anywhere yet. What if Iguchi is not that good over here? What if it takes him a while to adjust to MLB pitching? Who would the sox turn to if Willie was gone.. Fiction: Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez will toss more than 140 innings this season. I'm not really sure with his injury status.. Fiction: Shingo Takatsu will record more than 30 saves this season. Hitters were clearly starting to figure him out towards the end of the season. He still be very reliable but not as successful. Fiction: Scott Podsednik will set a career high in both batting average and OBP this season. I think he will improve greatly over last year but will not repeat his '03 year. Fiction: Frank Thomas will play in more than 120 games this season. ..but whenever he does come back I feel he'll make a huge impact on the team. Fact: Carl Everett will get more than 350 at-bats this season. Carl seems super determined..and I think he'll hit really well in the DH spot. Fact: A White Sox starter other than Mark Buehrle or Freddy Garcia will throw a complete game shutout this season. I think they all are capable of doing so.. I'm so optimistic. Fact: The White Sox will win the American League Central in 2005. The sox definitely have the talent to win the division..but so many players have question marks. If they all play to their capability, the division is theirs to take.
  19. QUOTE(YASNY @ Feb 4, 2005 -> 04:03 PM) Never, ever put your own name the back of a jersey. You might as well say ... "Hey! I'm a dork." That would work for me without looking dorky since a former sox player has the same last name as me...except..he only played here half a season. I guess that's still dorky. I have a Maggs shirt and I'm tempted to just duct tape his name.
  20. QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Jan 30, 2005 -> 11:58 AM) When a tooth (teeth) that were way out of sorts pre-braces finally lined up and were relatively straight, did you feel so happy that you had tears (or near tears)? I had orthodonic work from fourth grade until eigth..I think. I wasn't close to tears when I finally got my braces off..I was more happy that I wouldnt have to see the orthodontist anymore, atleast not as much for a while. I hated the orthodontist sooo much.
  21. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Jan 25, 2005 -> 03:10 PM) The only sprirng training game I'm going to is in Milwaukee. That should be pretty sweet, too. I'm going to try to make one of those games in Milwaukee, since I'm still on spring break by then. Really cheap..nice seats...seeing the sox. I'm excited.
  22. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 23, 2005 -> 10:52 PM) Let's see here. Last off-season. The Sox sign Shingo, Mike Jackson after losing Tub O' Goo Fartolo Colon and Flash Gordon. Don't forget about Juan Uribe and Cliff Politte.....such big signings they were.

Looks nice. I love the Dye picture.
  24. Did it say how much they were?
  25. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jan 8, 2005 -> 02:23 PM) I think it's his ball and he can keep it if he wants. Just my two cents. IMO, I believe it belongs to the team. I don't think Mientkiewicz won the whole World Series by himself. It's not like he even helped that much, anyway. It doesnt matter what they do with it, it doesnt belong to him just because he got it last.
