QUOTE (TitoMB345 @ May 24, 2009 -> 11:44 AM) Ozzie Guillen is stupid. BA in right, Pods in Center? f***ing do it right! Quentin in right, Pods in left, BA in center. I swear to god, he doesn't know anything about baseball. I'm fine with it. I'd rather they have the better throwing arm in right. -
So how well are the Sox gunna fare off this Brett Cecil kid and his 0.64 ERA? I actually feel blindly optimistic about this series. We've played our best baseball in a dome, might as well continue it? Go Johnny Danks!

He'll be facing Cliff Lee...

QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ May 5, 2009 -> 09:42 PM) What makes things worse is the 2005 draft may very well go down as one of the best ever, yet we ended up with Broadway. We also got Chris Getz.

It was probably just a piece of garbage he didn't want getting in his way..

I feel bad my sister is at this game, witnessing this disaster in person. -

QUOTE (earthshiner @ Apr 24, 2009 -> 09:08 PM) some one take arnie munoz out of there... Haha. It's like his start against the Expos all over again. -
That was so crazy. The best part of it was JD's reaction in the dugout after Paulie's went out.

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Apr 10, 2009 -> 05:32 AM) Sox fans boo Maggs and he was one of our best players this side of Big Hurt and Ventura...I appreciate what Crede did, especially in the 2005 postseason but he's a Twin now.I agree, one standing O in his first at bat, after that, boos and jeers... Except Magglio trashed our team, not to mention the whole Ozzie feud. I didn't boo him, but it was deserved. Totally different from Crede's situation. I hope the Sox televise his "video tribute"
-
I agree, Stone is great. I swear he talks to everyone "before" the game, hah. And he knows all the other teams so well, all the way down to the little details. His predictions are usually spot on.
-
My name is a bit outdated. Does anyone mind changing it to 2OutRally? Thank youuuu.
-
I also think he'll get a standing O in the first at bat. Crede was very loved here and the way he left was nothing like that of Magglio or something. Yeah, he signed with a rival and it seemed like him and KW/Ozzie were always on a different page about who was offering contracts and what not... but he's a big part of Sox history. It's like at soxfest when that one guy was thanking KW for getting rid of him and everyone just started booing.

4/7 Kansas City Royals @ Chicago White Sox 1:05 CDT - CSN

The battle for first place, let's start it off right. Go Sox!! -
QUOTE (WHITESOXRANDY @ Apr 7, 2009 -> 09:00 AM) There are only 2 teams with enough pitching to win the A.L. Central - the White Sox and the Twins. The Tigers probably have the worst pitching in the entire American League. Cleveland and K.C. are awful 3-5. The White Sox will win the division. Kyle Davies (the Royals #3 starter) is my pick to be the surprise pitcher of the year. He dominated last September (4-1, 2.27 ERA) and had a good spring. Ramirez will most likely struggle, but you never know what you're gunna get from Ponson. You know, before he ends up getting released for mysterious reasons. He had some solid starts for the Rangers last season.

QUOTE (103 mph screwball @ Apr 6, 2009 -> 10:30 AM) Comcast will show the Black Out one game playoff vs. the Twins instead for those of us with the day off today. I think this is a pretty great substitute, I've got my DVR ready. A+, Comcast! Makes me forget the days of Fox Sports Net, hah.
-
QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Apr 1, 2009 -> 04:28 PM) kind of overloaded on the 1st base type over there, with Jacobs and the giant Hawaiian guy Not to mention Billy Butler and Ryan Shealy.
-
Happy Birthday to you and Mark Buehrle! I share a birthday with Pablo Ozuna.
-
Well, it's their broadcast. These games weren't even listed on the White Sox schedule to be televised. I don't know if that makes a difference.

QUOTE (Kalapse @ Feb 28, 2009 -> 09:08 PM) Due to his continued arm problems apparently Brandon McCarthy has abandoned his curveball and replaced it with a less abrasive slider. That Danks trade just keeps looking better. Speaking of Brandon, Rangers scratch McCarthy from spring start Doesn't sound too bad, but the guy can never catch a break with these injuries...

QUOTE (DABearSoX @ Mar 4, 2009 -> 01:50 PM) Isn't Brooklyn what Ashlee Simpson named her kid, and Jayden what Britney Spears named her kid? man I gotta lay off the TMZ No, that's Bronx. Brooklyn is Beckham/Posh's son. I need to lay off the TMZ/gossip sites, too. Anyway. Congrats to the Buehrles!

QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 2, 2009 -> 11:34 PM) Hmmmm, I wonder if he's still hurting... Perhaps he strained his back looking up at all those popups that he hit in the batting cage. I think Gardenhire just wants to be cautious with him, especially with this long spring training. They haven't let him go on any road trips yet, either. He's playing third today against team Puerto Rico.
-
Not that I know of. The only athletes I know with them are Alex Ovechkin and Shaq. Shaq's is hilarious by the way, everyone should follow him.

QUOTE (Cali @ Feb 10, 2009 -> 05:37 PM) And...And.... Tony Graffanino! And Rafael Santana. 17 is a coveted number!
