I loved the way Manny hit. Beautiful inside out swing is not slap hitting. It's him realizing his timing is not where it should be right now and being smart about it.
It's called going with the pitch I believe and besides Manny is still getting that timing down. I just hope when he breask out of it for power we get it in a game we really need it and not as part of some blow out
Ozzie sticks with the players he started the season with that's for sure. Kotsay brings the D at 1B and Teahan is better at 3B so it is what it is. However, I wouldn't mind see that Morel kid at 3B at least once
I'll be watching on TBS Sunday Baseball Game of the Week. I think Manny should be playing. They just had two days off for crying out loud and Manny needs the at bats to get zeroed in - not sitting on the bench

f***, I missed it??? How did Manny do, and what time does game 2 start?
That game should be on MLB Network if you have it

Yeah, steal with our best hitter up!
Something is roten there. Hawk is losing it I think. Was that steal an Ozzie call though?
Apparently Vizquel isn't doing the job? It appeared to me that the Tribune writer was a bit out there on this story. Viciedo-Morel-Teahan and Vizquel- Whoa nellie!
Just in case this hasn't been posted already
Reported in Chicago Tribune 2 Sept 10
BOSTON — The White Sox apparently will shore up their defense with the promotion of third baseman Brent Morel from Triple-A Charlotte.
Morel reported Thursday morning that he will join the team in Boston in time for a three-game series against the Red Sox at Fenway Park. Morel batted .320 with eight home runs and 34 RBIs in 81 games with the Knights. He made a favorable impression on the Sox coaching staff in spring training.
Omar Vizquel has played second base the last two games while Gordon Beckham recovers from a bruised and swollen right hand. Mark Teahen sailed a throw Wednesday that prevented the Sox from completing a game-ending double play before rookie left-hander Chris Sale struck out Shin-Soo Choo with the tying run on first base to secure a 6-4 victory.
I have heard good things about ths kid. I also think Viciedo is on his way back isn't he?

Sure is, but he successfully rode a stationary bike this weekend. So that is exciting!
That's great! He didn't fall off the stationary bike

He has become Andruw Jones but with no fielding ability.
I think you might be angy with him because he screwed up a play a couple nights ago?
