  1. QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Sep 20, 2006 -> 05:52 PM) Yeah I'm not in a hurry to get rid of Pablo. I like his hustle. I like Mack's hustle too, but in the outfield he is painful. Pablo/Mack? I'd get rid of Mack. Perfect world: I'm not dying to get rid of either. That makes sense to me too. Maybe one will go, but I am not really in favor of losing either, if they play in the role they were originally pegged for
  2. Players have bad years. We have had some real ups and downs with our pitching, but thinking that we have to trade away any one of our five starters may be a knee jerk. It hasn't just been the starters as our relief corp has failed too. We see good starting pitching and bad relief pitching and vice versa. And at other times they all click well. I am starting to think we should hold on to what we have unless the deal blows us away. Plus I am not certain B Mac is ready for full-time starting duty.
  3. I hope we have a homegrown talent that might be able to step in and be an impact player. It's quite possible he is a LF'er for 2007.
  4. I would hold onto all of our pitchers now and see what ST brings and make trade decisions then. Buerhle, Garcia, Contreras, Vazquez and Garland have the talent and I an not sure trading any of them would be the right thing to do. I am not impressed with McCarthy and don't see him as being ready to take over a starting role.
  5. I support this team, but it ain't ova yet
  6. QUOTE(chisox72 @ Sep 19, 2006 -> 03:00 AM) How much longer will Uribe prolong the inevitable here? Mack will end our misery QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Sep 19, 2006 -> 03:02 AM) Entering next season, the White Sox should consider platooning Fields/Mack in LF if their's no fulltime substitutes to be found. Sweeney could serve as a possible relief option to Anderson/Dye. It'd be a disservice, IMO, to hold Fields down in AAA. If we're not wiling to give him a spot on this team, package him in a trade. Field-Sweeny-Anderson and Dye are the OF'er's next year
  7. 14 pitch at bat by Uribe. I hope he didn't hurt himself
  8. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Sep 19, 2006 -> 02:53 AM) FIELDSSSSSSSSS I think that's his 1st official at bat isn't it?
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 19, 2006 -> 02:52 AM) You know, Sean Tracey deserves a lot of credit for this tailspin. Ever since the Ozzie/Mariotti incident, there's been a terrible vibe surrounding this team. I think your right
  10. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Sep 19, 2006 -> 02:51 AM) Can't we still officially say it until the next champion is crowned? I plan on it
  11. Tracey throwing a wild pitch to the 1st batter he faces. Then the runner scores. Sums up our relief corp
  12. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Sep 19, 2006 -> 02:45 AM) The f*** is this? Managing in a 6 run game? Why? Hey Guillen, you should have managed before McCarthy gave up a three run HR. McCarthy had no business being out there and neither did Mackowiak in CF. I have never seem such a patchetic dispaly as what we get out of McCarthy almost every game. He must have given up nearly as many homers as Buerhle
  13. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Sep 19, 2006 -> 02:40 AM) I'm so excited about going to the game tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! Go Sox!!!!!!!!!! AllI can do is wait for ESPN Wed Night Game (Sox and Tigers) but it may be so meaningless now
  14. QUOTE(chisox72 @ Sep 19, 2006 -> 02:39 AM) To which he would follow that sentiment with a yawn and then off to sleepyland.... Which is where I am going, now that Ozzie left B-Mac out to get shelled....funny thing is, he will probably blame this loss on Brandon in some way. "I leff this kids in there to pish and he canno get it done, he embarass us. Mark pish good, his stuff not there, but Brandon embarass us." I can see it already.... I know!
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 19, 2006 -> 02:38 AM) Well....McCarthy right now looks like another one of the hyped up Sox prospects who doesn't have the physical ability to match their hype. His stuff is mediocre. And he has too many times this year
  16. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Sep 19, 2006 -> 02:37 AM) Jarry? You had to be there Sqwert. That's my nom de plume
  17. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Sep 19, 2006 -> 02:36 AM) DID YOU KNOW HE HAS THE BEST ALL TIME FIELDING PERCENTAGE AT THIRD BASE? Joe Crede deserves it bar none
  18. QUOTE(chisox72 @ Sep 19, 2006 -> 02:35 AM) We need to concentrate on the Tigers too... I think the Twins will probably win this division and it will be the Tigs going for the WC spot. In which case, we need to keep ourselves close to them too... After this loss tonight, and it will be a loss, we'll be 4.5 back of the Twinks and 6 back of the Tigs. Meanwhile the Twinks will only be 1.5 back after tonight. Either way, we are up s***s creek without a paddle with this loss here... Barring a collapse of MONUMENTAL proportions by the Twins or Tigers...this s*** is over.... To quote from years past: Can't we just get along people? Jarry Manual
  19. I still like Joe Crede. Maybe he'll win the gold glove
  20. I was listening some to XM and thinking how can our so called money pitcher be broke? Rogers can shut us out with little more stuff than Buerhle has and we don't score and mark can't shut the Tigers down
  21. Someone has to act like they still care... Thome hit a homer, who else has done anything? We can't worry about catching the Tigers all we can do is concentrate on the Twins. Take the next two games if we can't comeback tonight
  22. On paper this team was better than last year. It's not KW's fault or Ozzie G's fault. The fault lies with a burned out pitching staff. That's it in my opinion. Keep the same taelnt here for 200u7 and we might have a championship gain. I think gthe worse thing we can do is tear apart what's already in place. Do some fine tuning maybe, but not a fire sale
  23. I have been listening to XM and I think I'll go back so I can shut it off as I get sicker. See you guys
