  1. Paulie is absolutely scuffling. In Manto I trust.
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:29 PM) The replay showed him looking at the first base ump on the appeal Yeah, he has no excuses with the way it ended up unfolding
  3. If he can adjust to the situation and make contact when he needs to, he'll be killer in RISP situations like that with no shift
  4. This is a serious question -- has Dunn ever had consecutive multi-hit games as a White Sox?
  5. My interpretation of Viciedo's play: -I would never have expected him to catch it, I couldn't believe he got there. -I would have expected ADA/Wise to catch that almost every time
  6. That was a case of the 2-2 pitch being a reasonable one to swing at, it was a great pitch, but he shouldn't have had two strikes because the others he swung at weren't close.
  7. Hawk sounded dejected when he said Keppinger was up
  8. I won't complain about the K rate until the HR rate drops and his current hot streak ends
  9. Tyler Kepner ‏@TylerKepner 56s Funny quote from Santa Claus (er, Eric Wedge) on ejection: "He shouldve thrown me out. I wouldve thrown myself out if I said that to myself"
  10. QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 16, 2013 -> 09:59 PM) Thanks again De Aza 2-1 Angels. I agree that it was dumb and he's been dumb on the basepaths, but I think you're the only one here that saw any possibility there except him getting out
  11. Well it was Pujols going opposite field on an outside fastball against a lefty. That's just something he does, I guess.
  12. QUOTE (MAX @ May 16, 2013 -> 09:55 PM) I don't recall him ever hitting .214 this late in the year. I bet he heats up soon or we hear about another wrist injury. He batted .234 in 2003 and .240 in 2008, so extended stretches of poor play aren't exactly unprecedented for him. Makes it tougher to decide if this is from old age or not.
  13. I'd love to see PK heat up one more time before he leaves Chicago
  14. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 16, 2013 -> 09:53 PM) DeAza with bad base-running or just nothing he could do there? May have been dumb, but didn't change result of the play
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ May 16, 2013 -> 09:52 PM) When Hawk announces with Wimpy, it's cool how Hawk acts like a proud papa of all the Sox players and brags to Wimpy about their contributions. lol I agree. "Look what we can do Wimpy!"
  16. Dunn continues. How the hell did that become a double??
  17. That was actually a really tough play FWIW
  18. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 16, 2013 -> 09:46 PM) "Alexis" Rios, per Angels announcer He went by Alexis when he first came up, takes a good AND bad memory to call him that.
  19. ADA getting hot. Wimpy and Hawk hilarious together
