  1. QUOTE (fathom @ May 15, 2013 -> 02:43 PM) If your #5 pitcher goes 5 innings allowing 2 runs after your #1 and 2 go 9 and 7 innings the previous 2 days, you can't really complain. I'm not mad at Dylan, but you will see the worst of your bullpen when the guy only goes 5 innings.
  2. This is what happens when your starter only goes 5 and 1/3
  3. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 15, 2013 -> 02:25 PM) Where do you have to be? tbh, I'm trying to get a column published with Dunn's end-of-today stats ASAP. Getting surgery real pronto and I want to get a fresh article up before I get potentially delirious for a few days
  4. Won't hear any complaints from me about a quick inning
  5. QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ May 15, 2013 -> 01:57 PM) Very nice AB from Viciedo. He's maturing big time right now. Remember last May? That was fun.
  6. I think Hahn has always been our Boras whisperer anyway
  7. I think I'm going to go for HTC One. Their tweaks to standard Android to my knowledge are rather minor, short of requiring you to use BlinkFeed as one of your homepages. I think I might actually like BlinkFeed, so I'll be okay with that.
  8. Keppinger has not played well, but I swear he makes a fair amount of hard contact that is always right at fielders
  9. Hawk: "...and he pitches out of another jam hhehehehehhehe"
  10. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 15, 2013 -> 01:19 PM) The interesting thing is that Dunn's homering a lot more than 2011....8 (should be 9) versus 11 for the whole year, but average is still down 15 points. Astros have come back to take the lead against DET, but not ready to believe the Astros can actually beat them yet. I should have some good material for you to look at regarding Dunn 2013 v 2011
  11. Korean Baseball Player Celebrates His Walk-Off Bomb, Later Realizes He Flew Out
  12. Since April 24 - the day that I and FanGraphs think Dunn went back to his old approach, he has an .815 OPS. Progress.
  13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 15, 2013 -> 01:06 PM) He had a good run about 2 weeks ago, slumped again for a week, made another adjustment or two and now is hitting well again. I think this may be the pattern for him this season. Hopefully he can extend the "runs of good hitting" just a little bit more. If my editor would oblige me, I'd have an article about this out there soon.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 15, 2013 -> 12:50 PM) He's fine as a 5th starter on a good team. That doesn't mean Hector
  15. I'm on board with playing Kepp for now, but he's toast as soon as Gordon is back. You still have to find spots to start him against lefties and an occasional righty, but the opportunities will dwindle if he doesn't pick it up.
