KW whining about (OK bringing up) attendance again
There should be no rebuilding with this franchise. We have the resources to always put a competitive product out there like we have now. The trick is not to get all emotional if this product doesn't surge to 100 wins and trade away the future for a short term shot at the title of a weak division.

THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!
I was starting to think Soxtalk was mad that Gavin pitched well, because now there is nobody to be mad at. GAVIN DA STOPPA

I know it's no fun to lose the series at home, but we can pretend we took 2/3 at both places.

Technology catch-all thread
QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jun 20, 2012 -> 03:48 PM) Yes. http://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER (Cleans the "crap" files off of your computer and out of your registry, temp files, etc.) and http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows...rity-essentials (Free anti-virus/anti-malware from Microsoft, this is a VERY good program, and it's free.) Perfect, I had asked a trusted few on another forum and got the same two suggestions I think I'm going to use Thunderbird for a mail client, was never fond of Outlook and I don't want to buy it.

*Official* Work Out Thread
QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Jun 20, 2012 -> 04:19 PM) Other than bodyweight exercises (pushups, pullups, etc), what is the cheapest way to start doing some strength training? Can I buy a barbell+weights and do things like squats and lifts without having something like a power rack (assuming I am extremely conservative about how much weight I use)? It's going to be hard to get a heavily weighted barbell to your back without a rack to hold it up and allow you to get underneath the bar. Check things like craigslist, oftentimes people are willing to part with that stuff at far under retail prices (which are sky high). It can be a pain to go pick those types of things up and it's damn near impossible to ship something that heavy without paying a fortune.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 20, 2012 -> 08:57 PM) Thornton get the 7th, or does Ventura put Gavin back out there? Not sure, our coaching staff has basically given pitch counts the finger. However, they have to feel compelled to pull Gavin before anything goes wrong. Tough call

Eduardo reminds of Hudson in the way he often works counts in his favor but rarely does anything positive other than draw the walk.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 20, 2012 -> 07:42 PM) We were lucky to get what we got for Carlos Quentin. We may very well get a look at Simon Castro with the big league club soon.

While it wouldn't take a great deal of effort for Dayan to trim down, I'm not sure that he needs to. Alexei gaining weight on the other hand may be a very difficult task -- gaining muscle is extremely difficult, especially as you age. The last thing he needs to do is gain some chub while he increases his food intake hoping for a little muscle.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jun 20, 2012 -> 07:18 PM) That cutter has been quite bad at times this year. I understand that he may need it when the curve isn't there, but it should not appear often when his curve is just fine. I actually like him throwing it up and in to the lefties. Way to go Gavin, working out of trouble for once!
