I have never minded sleeves but lots of pitchers hate them. I play with a guy right now that defiantly throws off his long sleeve undershirt after every bad inning, lol.

IMO, Peavy is pitching like an ace right now. I know there is a lot of game left for him to get shelled, but aces stop losing streaks and it starts by shutting their bats off early in the game. Jake understands how to pitch in these situations and I'm happy to have him on our staff.

I feel like something happened to my brother. This really sucks. Gear up for the biggest Cinderella run ever or s*** may be real sad in Chicago for a while.

I really was okay with letting Derrick get as much time to get his rhythm back as possible. This just sucks, but obviously it had no impetus. He was either a ticking time bomb or this was a fluke.
