Has anyone ever had to deal with foxes living in your backyard (in my case, under my shed)? When I came home last night around 9ish, I saw a mother fox with about 4 or 5 babies in my backyard. Then this morning around 5ish, I saw two of the babies playing in the backyard with a dead rabbit. I've called two animal control centers....one basically just told me it would cost $175 to set a trap, and $100 per catch. The second one was much more helpful, and said having a fox issue is "a good thing because it helps keep other pests away". However, since i have a puppy, i obviously don't want the fox or it's pups around us. So, this guy told me to put ammonia on a rag, and place it near by the den around sunset, which should get the mother and it's babies to relocate. I'm just wondering if anyone has tried this before?

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Apr 9, 2012 -> 07:54 AM) Dog is 8 weeks old, had it for 2 nights now. Last night was the same as the night before, still whining uncontrollably for hours at a time (how does she have the energy to even do that? You'd think she's tire herself out). Even if out of crate and in other room, goes crazy until it's near us again. It's like blood-curdling yelps. I'm going to google that 2 week shutdown. The wife and I just adopted a schnauzer-terrier mix (her name is Strudel and she's the cutest dog ever) last weekend. She's almost 4 months old. Like Illinilaw did with his dog, at night she's in her cage next to our bed. The first few night were the worst: she had these horrifying cries/howls. She'd stop for an hour, then start up again. She did that for the first few nights, but now she's much, much better. One thing we did was put a sound machine making a "heartbeat" noise on top of her cage, and it seemed to sooth her (we tried inside the cage first, but she seemed scared of it). She now only seems to cry when she has to do her business. Actually, last night was the best one so far...we went to bed around 10ish, and she didn't cry until 415.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Mar 19, 2012 -> 10:29 PM) Why does everybody think the Royals should have traded Soria when he was an automatic save machine? Rivera has been closing for 90 years now for the Yankees. Why do teams always have to trade players? It's not like the guys teams receive in return in trades are always worth a damn? So I guess the Sox should have traded Mark last year. It's an epic fail Kenny didn't. But Kenny gets a free pass on that?? A couple years back, Soria was one of the top closers in the game. For a team like the Royals, who weren't expected to compete, they could have received a good amount in return for him. Adding in that he was still young (still is only 27) and his salary was very favorable. Buehrle was 32 last year, and making nearly $15 mil, and on his last year of his contract. The Sox would not have received much in return. But we all know, you just have to throw that statement in because you have to take a shot at KW whenever you can.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 02:56 PM) As of now, I set the draft date to the night before opening night. I'm still waiting on Sirtifiably Caffey to sign up/perhaps get his replacement. Also waiting on everyone else's keepers. If everything falls into place soon, I'll push the draft date up. The date works for me, but can we move the time up to 7 or 8? As for my keepers: Jerry Owens Still Sucks Braun Adrian Gonzalez Ellsbury Verlander Kershaw

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 04:32 PM) Supposedly there's some options being tossed around from the Bulls to the Magic. Noah, Boozer, Watson for Howard, Turkoglou if Dwight will simply opt-in for next year (ala Deron, ala CP3) Notice, no Deng. Hey Steve, where are you finding this info? If its on Twitter, I'd like to follow.

An even better signing for the Yankees today, per RotoWorld: Yankees signed INF/OF Burt Reynolds to a minor league contract.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Feb 21, 2012 -> 05:46 PM) Yeah, it was just done as a placeholder. What night/time would work best for most of us? For myself, Mon thru Thurs nights after 6 usually works for me.

I see the draft is currently set up for Sunday, March 25th at 930 pm. Is it possible to move that date/time?

I know it was pointed out in another thread how bad Phil Rogers was on baseball, but I guess I never really paid attention. Then I just saw this, his "grand slam of lobby theories" Red Sox sign Pujols, and then trade Adrian Gonazlez PLUS prospects Will Middlebrooks and Micahel Bowden AND other young pitchers to the Cubs for Garza and Marmol.
