smalls2598 replied to smalls2598's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
yeah, well i jumped the gun.....it actually didnt work for me neither. i thought it did at first, because it took me to a new page. but the new page was only the Insider Homepage....it still asked for a login. none of the 6 from bugmenot.com has worked yet. o well. it wasnt that important. maybe bugmenot.com works on some pages, just not all (espn being one of those) -

are you sure on that? i thought they didnt sign Warner because Warner wanted to be the starter, but that wasnt going to happen with Rex. but then he ended up signing with the Giants, knowing that he may lose the starting job to Eli (and did). so they could have got warner. s***, if we even had Chandler, he would make this offense a little more productive. -
alright. well, do u need me to reset the password for the team, or will the admins take care of that?

so now im confused. i thought i signed up as texas. i even talked to jhot283 last night about resigning guys. now i hear i dont have texas? if jason asked for them first, thats fine, he can take the team. i didnt see his post asking for them. plus this seems too complicated. but if he doesnt want texas, then i'll keep them. but someone please explain to me what is going on with Texas.

so shingo ended up taking 2nd in the voting. ESPN ROY link NEW YORK -- Oakland Athletics shortstop Bobby Crosby was just a vote shy of being a unanimous pick for AL Rookie of the Year, and Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Jason Bay won the NL award Monday. Crosby received 27 of 28 first-place votes in balloting by the Baseball Writers' Association of America for 138 points. Chicago White Sox closer Shingo Takatsu received the other first-place vote and finished second with 44 points, followed by Baltimore pitcher Daniel Cabrera with 29 points. Bay, the first Pittsburgh player and first native Canadian to win the NL award, got 25 of 32 first-place votes and 146 points. San Diego shortstop Khalil Greene received seven first-place votes, 24 seconds and one third for 108 points, and Padres reliever Akinori Otsuka was next with 23 points. Crosby, 24, took over Oakland's shortstop job from 2002 AL MVP Miguel Tejada, who signed with Baltimore. Crosby hit .239 with 22 homers and 64 RBIs, his average the lowest for a non-pitcher given the award. He led AL rookies in hits (130), doubles (34) and walks (58), and was third among all AL players with 4.17 pitches per plate appearance. However, his 141 strikeouts were the most for Oakland since Jose Canseco's 152 in 1991. Crosby became the sixth A's player to earn the honor, following Harry Byrd (1952), Canseco (1986), Mark McGwire (1987), Walt Weiss (1988) and Ben Grieve (1998). Bay hit .282 with 26 homers and 82 RBIs. The 26-year-old from Trail, British Columbia, had the most homers by an NL rookie since Albert Pujols hit 37 three years ago. Bay started the season on the disabled list while recovering from surgery on his right shoulder and didn't play his first major league game of the season until May 7. Pittsburgh had been the only pre-expansion team without a rookie of the year, with four players finishing second: first baseman Donn Clendenon (1962), second baseman Johnny Ray (1982), pitcher Mike Dunne (1987) and outfielder-first baseman Orlando Merced (1991).1991

also, you probably wont be able to transfer your phone book if you are switching companies. if you were getting a new Nextel, it probably can be done, but not if you go to T-mobile, sprint, or anyone else. as a side note...picture phones are cool, but the quality really isnt the greatest. you may want to take the 200-300 bucks you mentioned and just buy a camera. just my 2 cents

just send them an email to make sure you will get a Sox one. they are pretty good with returning emails on product questions; ive done it a few times.

1. my guess is that they brought it pedro to secure the lead. kind of like they used him in relief back in the 90's vs. the indians in the playoffs. but, that backfired last night, and Francona didnt want to risk any more chances, and took him out. but, why did Lowe even come out? he had a 1 hitter, and what, only 66 pitches? did he get hurt or something (i should add that i missed innings 2-7 because of my softball game). 2. nomars thinking...."i'm gay"

as everyone has said, as you get older, you aquire the taste. i hated beer when i just turned 20, but half way through the year, i started to really like it. now, 4 years later, i enjoy the time when i get to drink my beer. its a great way to relax. and yeah, i know people will say, "how does it make you relax, or its a mental thing", but you'll understand more with time. but the most important fact.......be responsible!! if you are under 21, dont even think about drivng if you are drinking. remember..its 0 tolerance!! and they do enforce that. i had a buddy lose his liscence for 9 months because of that. and, after you turn 21, pace your self ifyou have to drive, and dont get drunk. a DUI is not fun at any age. and it is very costly. be ready to drop between $1500-5000. no joke. by the way....i just receently realized that beer helps out when playing Madden. i seem to see the receivers better. ahh, good times.

I continue to hate Mike North's show more and more
smalls2598 replied to WSoxShuf's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
I agree....north sucks. and as much as i really didnt like murph, i enjoyed the murph and fred show. now i never turn on the score while north is on. he was better suited for the 2-6 or whatever he was...a timeslot i never had to listen too. boers and bernstein have the best show on the score. i love it when they have people call in and they tease the caller with the various sound clips, like Hey Buddy and when they use the sound clips for the first few seconds of the call. you know what i mean. good show guys. -
im surprised this MTV or VH1 hasnt talked about it. anyways...he is a complete dick. f*** him. :fyou
