Is anyone else getting the feeling that if AJ is signed, Kenny will pack up shop and call it an offseason? I fear that Kenny will go into 2005 without having addressed this team's number one priority this offseason. He just signed Gentle Ben to a one year, $1M deal; sign Wade and you just got yourself a A-/B+ offseason.

Bruce Levine reports the White Sox have resigned catcher Ben Davis for $1M for 1 year.

Looks good. Along with the improvement of the fan deck and upper deck, our little park on the Southside is really starting to look nice. Golly, I still remember the horrible blue porch in center, the white light structures and the tunnel bullpens. That was really nasty.

I don't know it...just speculating based on the desire for a multi-year contract coming off some injuries. It doesn't sound like Reinsdorf to me. Not one bit. In any case, I would love to be proven wrong on this.

I think some people are too attached to Davis. He didn't do much last year to improve this club. I'd like to see him go if we get AJ...his country music, his likeable hair...so long. If AJ is brought in, I think we are looking at AJ as the everyday catcher and Burke as Buehrle's personal catcher. Now, thats an improved catching core.

Beane knew what he was doing with this one. He has about two or three catchers developing in his farm system; now that he was Kendal locked up, he can turn those catchers into whatever he needs via trade in the coming years. This was a good move by Beane and Kendall isn't going anywhere.

If he signs both AJ and Odalis he gets an A- in my book. He would have addressed every team need except for the middle infield situation.

Ok, I have some good news, and I have some bad news. The bad news is Ad Aware only creates worse problems by installing more third party software in your system. Stay away from Ad Aware by all acounts. The good news is your problem is completely treatable for the very reasonable price of $19.99. The product you need to buy is called Spy Sweeper and it is the best at thrid party software/spyware removal on the market. You need to run this program about once a week and it will completely clear out any spyware and thrid party software you have on your computer. Whatever you do, don't take it to Geek Squad at Best Buy. They will erase your entire memory and sell you Spy Sweeper. So, hopefully I just saved you some grief.

Well, I think its moot anyway. Looks like Beane isn't dealing with any AL teams. I am certain an AL club would have been able to offer more for both Huddy and Mulder.
