Are they referring to Willie as an "infield void"? Oh my god, I love it. I think you hit the nail right on the head Jim. Kenny wants to bring in this middle infielder and call in an off-season. If he fills this "void," he would have addressed every team need this off-season. Rather Impressive. -SP -Leadoff -Speed -Bullpen *Middle Infielder* ...and I suppose an arguement can be made for the catching position, but, we have to be realistic, Kenny can't bring in that many new faces with our budget.

One of the most happening areas in the park is right there in LF by the beer stand. Its kind of a kooky idea, maybe it'll be nice when its done. I'm not really feeling the pictures though.

Take it for what its worth, but Shingo has had nothing but great things to say about the Sox organization in Japan. He has really talked up the team and I think that could sway a few of these guys. Who knows.

I want this guy off the roster in a major way. Hopefully 2005 will be his last shot to prove he can/can't play on a daily basis. What really chaps my ass though, was his inability to steal bases last year. That was the final straw in my book. I never thought I would see any combination of Crede, Davis, Harris after 2004. Ugh.

Ozzie has a much better handle on things than we give him credit for. He knows who he wants in the pen and I think both Cotts and Adkins can become key members of a formidable pen in the future. If he were to put any A-ballers in the pen, it would be either Diaz or Munoz (although he isn't a Diaz fan). And, no...Grilli is not trade bait. He'll pitch at AAA, get the occasional spot start and call it a career. IMO, He'll be out of baseball in the next 3 years.

Our little AL Central is growing up. Things ought to be a lot more competitive this year. If we played like we did last year, we will end up in third place. The guys are going to ae to step it up, knock off mental mistakes, and just flat-out execute to stay competitive this year.

No, No No, to Reese. We have this guy on the roster already for a much more reasonable price. Cora is the logical answer to the middle infield problem.

Although this is a little disheartening, I never really thought Eck would end up on the Southside. I'm sure Kenny expressed interest, but I think his main target for the middle infield is Cora; this has typical Sox signing written all over it. Kenny: "Well Alex, we know you would love to play for you brother here in Chicago, but unfortunately, that will have to come at a more reasonable price. I know some other teams have offered you more money, but we hope that playing for your brother, as well as with many other latino players, is more important than getting the extra bucks. We would love for you to come to the Southside."
