My only fear with this trade... Trading Carlos may take us out of the Randy Johnson hunt. I thought Carlos Lee and Jon Garland would be the basis of a deal with Arizona. If Carlos is dished, I'm scared.

So many posts...so little news. I think we oughta' just wait for the Podsednik deal to go down. I just have to think the Podsednik move would be the move to get the overall "plan" in motion. Lee going to the Brewers would free up the salary to take on one of those front-line pitchers. Who knows guys...this could be a great move when it is all said and done. As dense as Kenny is, I really don't think he'd trade Caballo and only get Podsednik in return. C'mon. He's still the general manager for a professional ball club.

Those two would then be traded for Hudson. -Clement is GOING TO SIGN with the Angels -Johnson has a 50-50 chance of starting the year in Yankee pinstripes. Lee and Garland for Vazquez and Johnson to the Yankees still looks like it could go down.

Yes sir. I agree. A deal with the Brewers might mean the rotation answer is not too far away. If we were fine with trading Carlos Lee for Hudson, Unit, or the like, who cares if he goes to the Brewers or anywhere else. This could be step one of something major.

Thoughts... -Anthrax's trade idea with the Marlins is absurd. That's a total XBox trade. -I'm simply not sold on SPod enough to trade one of the most consistent White Sox over the past three years. -STOP WITH THE SHEETS TALK. Doug Melvin is madly in love with him. He is going to do anything he can to lock him down. Melvin will NEVER, EVER have a Brewers "Garage Sale" like the Bucs did a couple years ago. If anything, Sheets may be shipped at the deadline in a big blockbuster type deal. -All signs point towards Clement going to the halos. Shucks.

For me, this guy is like Reggie Miller. You hate his guts when he plays against your team, but you'd love to call him your own. I wasn't a fan when he had all those things to say about the Sox, but I don't hold grudges. The Sox would be a better team with A.J. He seems like a really down to earth guy in interviews and such. I'd welcome him with open arms.
