Have any of you ever had an interest in or looked into the Amityville haunting? I know its time, but the story behind this haunting is incredible. I won't get into any of it, but if you are interested, or remember it and want to reminisce... Linky The History Channel did a "History's Mysteries" on the house around Halloween. A new movie is being made on the subject and will hit theaters around April. Starring Ryan Reynolds and Melissa George, this movie (unlike the 1979 version) will will be a faithful adaptation of the book. Creepy kids.

This post is 100% right on. The signing of a guy like Renteria takes care of both the SS and 2B problem as Uribe becomes the everyday starting second baseman. Remember if Jaret Wright is signed and Paulie is traded, we will have adressed every major problem during this ONE off-season. I anticpate Kenny to sign two big name free agents: one at shortstop or second base, and the other at SP. Then, a trade involving Paulie will most likely bring in our remaining bullpen answers as well as some help in the form of prospects. Before we crucify Kenny, let's let the man work.

My thought on Edgar is, if JR is willing to spend the dough to get him in here, why all the hate? As long as Kenny is able to fill the team's most pressing needs after he is in the books, this could be a fantastic signing.

In that case, yes: an offseason of Renteria and Wright would be successful. I, too, think the Sox will make some lower-level aquisitions via free agency or trade; but let's just hope if Paulie is dealt, we recieve something of value (ie bullpen, prospects) in return.
