I don't know any bars in Atlanta, but if you're looking for a Chicago place to watch the game, fly into O'Hare and stay in Rosemont to go to Shoeless Joe's. The owner of the place is a huge Sox fan and it's normally packed with tons of Northside Sox fans. I can only imagine how crazy it will be for the World Series. But, if you're flying into O'Hare and getting a hotel by the airport, Shoeless Joe's is in walking distance and would probably make the whole think kinda convienent. Sorry to start the new thread, hopefully others are wondering the same thing. 1) Do any of you know if Comcast plans on replaying the post-game lockerroom celebration footage today as they the day after the AL Central Division clinch? If so, can you PLEASE post the time and other information. 2) Does anyone know how to save the images posted on Whitesox.com? I have gathered all the photos from Chicagosports.com, cbssportsline.com, and yahoosports, but the Flash White Sox photo gallery has some awesome shots. Anyone know how to scam on those? Thanks. Also wanted to add my body is just numb today. I'm honestly living on a cloud.

After screaming my head off on the phone with my dad, the power in my building shut off and the backup generator across the way started screaming like a banshee. After everyone in the building ran outside to see what happend, I ripped the White Sox flag off my wall and started running around the courtyard with the flag as a cape. Now, this backup generator sounds like a Semi-Truck idling two feet outside my window. Anyone that has ever hand any expierence with one of these things can attest to how freaking loud those things are. That said, I was on such an emotional high after running around with the Sox flag and recieving calls from around the country from all my fellow Sox fans/family, I slept like an angel. I put a pillow over my head and fell asleep about 30 seconds after laying down despite the ROCK-CONCERT-LOUD generator outside my window. What a night. I still can't believe we are talking about this. When do I wake up?

I have a story to tell my kids, grandkids, other people's kids, homeless people, etc. for the rest of my life. I watched innings 1-8 on a three inch television for about three hours on the bus from Chicago to Champaign. Got back in time to watch the bottom of the 8th till' we popped the corks! I was on the phone with my dad for the final three outs of the game. I wanted to expierence that with him moreso than any other Sox fan combined. He was four years old in 59'--too young to really remember the magic--and he was the man responsible for making me the Sox fan I am today. It was really one of those moments frozen in time that I will never forget for as long as I live. OUR Chicago White Sox are heading to the World Series. The Chicago White Sox are headed to the World Series. The Chicago White Sox are headed to the World Series. ...pinch me.

I must have read the Trib's "Soxtober" section two or three times this morning and it still hasn't sunk in. One win away from the You-Know-What? Are you kidding me? This can't really be happening. I was there with the Illini game-in and game-out last season, putting more time, devotion and effort into a team that I have no connection with other than fandom than I ever had in the past. Believe it or not, this trumps the whole Illini expierence. The Sox are the team I grew up with. The Sox are the team I learned baseball from. The Sox are the team me and my old man first enjoyed a ballpark Frank and a seventh-inning stretch with. To have my belov'ed Sox one win away from the World Series trumps just about any other professional sports expierence I have ever enjoyed combined. When your whole family is making breakfast singing "Let's Go Go Go Whiteeeeeeeee Sox," it really is something you'll never forget. Let's get that Pennant, Pale Hose.

Potato Chip Thread....very nice Hammer...very Chicago. I really only enjoy two types of chips. 1) BBQ Jays----------salavating 2)Tayto Irish Chips, imported from Ireland-----I need a little help from the Southside Irish on board. Those are called Tayto, are they not? They have some real interesting and delicious flavors. Problem is, you can really only get them at those Irish import stores. Cool thread.

Yup. But, thinking back, I can probably only count Cora's colossal screw-ups on one hand this season. I suppose it could be worse. ...maybe I just still have a soft spot for one of my favorite double-play tandums.
