QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 12:17 PM) Put me at the top of the list. Awesome, that adds some serious street-cred. 27 left...

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 11:54 AM) You must adopt the Rally Crede as your saviour for all that is Soxy and good. I'll one-up ya. The Addison-Team BandVangon is making its maiden voyage. I don't really know what we're about...but, we ain't stopping until we hit post-season baseball. Who wants in? /officially lost mind

Is this the place to sign up for White Sox optimism? I'm way too depresed in the other camp. I'm in fellas. Take me back? /repent

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 11:38 AM) I thought you were agreeing at first because of your history, but then I read second and third parts and I figured the first part was sarcastic. Phew... Crisis averted. You're quite right in your criticism. No one deserves a free-pass on this one. I heard Bryan Dolgin on Cold Pizza this morning--yes, he was actually on the show--and he said something that really hit deep. He said, if the Sox continue playing like this, years from now people will be talking about the collapse of the 2005 White Sox and it will trump the Cubs historic miss. EDIT: I have more waffles than a house of pancakes.

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 11:34 AM) Whoa, settle down. Something like that could be considered a personal attack. I think you're more angry with the Sox than with me. Herb, I'm agreeing with you! EDIT: Herb gets called out looking. Re-read the post.
-
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 08:02 AM) Yay, let's not be angry! Rejoice in that fact that we had a huge lead, revel in the glory that is the history of the Chicago White Sox, and embrace the upcoming chokejob with glee, lest you be a Cub fan. That is an epic post. Well done. Wah-wah-wah if you call bulls*** on a team that once owned a 15 game lead, you are a whining, sniveling, band-wagon, Cubs fan...you're no Sox fan. Blow me.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 07:02 PM) Vizcaino is up in the bullpen. Well, I feel much better. That's it. I'd rather read my Psych homework. Yes, it's that bad. So long. :puke

QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:58 PM) I hate how this inning has progressed. You almost expect a three-run HR. Garcia has suddenly lost his testicles and has decided not to pitch inside. Way to step up, Chief. Woa, woa, woa...suddenly? No. No. No. This has been going on ALL SEASON LONG, save the aforementioned game on the Northside.
-
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:57 PM) f***ing walks. God I hate f***ing walks. Illinois Nazis. I hate Illinois Nazis.
-
QUOTE(SoxPhan7 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:55 PM) Pitch in! Everything is away away away The man on the bump tonight is physically incapable of pitching inside and pitching there effectively. He did it once this year. Wrigley Field.
-
QUOTE(TheBlackSox8 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:53 PM) I don't feel good right now.....how is it possible that a baseball team can make a person...physically ill? :puke If they gave you the clap?

QUOTE(qwerty @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:50 PM) Garcia is a joke. What'd he just do? Update time.

Oh boy. It looks like this is one of those situations we are just going to have to sit back and trust Ozzie. I'm sure after looking at the situation long and hard they've come to this decision. But, I ask you this: if Hermanson's back is too injuried to close ballgames, how is it he can come in and pitch in the seventh and eigth? Is he just going to be a glorified mop-up guy at this point? An odd turn of events and one I really didn't see coming. Next Jay Mariotti article: If Schilling's "red sock" was good enough for the Red Sox, why can't Hermanson cowboy up and deal with some back pain? That's the thing champions are made of...the staff should have seen this coming...blah blah etc.

If Garcia gets through the 1st inning...

QUOTE(qwerty @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 01:53 PM) It is truly inexcusable. Not many places can you do a lack luster job 1/3 of the time and still get paid... and get paid extremely well while doing so. He needs to get himself some balls tonight and keep them for the next month and a half hopefully. Hit the proverbial nail square on the head. If Freddy trots out to toe the rubber with his skirt on, we are going to get hit HARD. If he comes out and pitches a game like he did at Wrigley Fied--that is, the only real documented case I have of Freddy pitching with a serious pair...Twins game INcluded--he can dominate nearly any offense in the league. -
I'm in line for a pretty rough week of homework/studying for two tests. It's always difficult getting up for the first test of the semester. Luckily, the course is Environmental Biology. :sleep

Here's to merging threads! Do your thing White Sox.

QUOTE(TribeFanfromCanton @ Sep 18, 2005 -> 01:50 PM) As a Tribe fan I think this upcoming series could be one of the most exciting EVER in the Central Division. The Sox are struggling but are obviously in the lead for a reason, very dangerous. Sox fans are great, I read the passion on these boards and it is unbelievable!!! This is gonna be FUN!!!!! Go Tribe!!!! Welcome aboard. To be honest with you, I have no idea why the photoshopper was banned. Hopefully, they'll let you hang around for awhile. A little baseball-banter never hurt anybody. I wish the same could be said for YTOWN. Second time poster = You Gawn!

Focusing my attention on Bears football in late September... Where have I seen this one before?

QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Sep 18, 2005 -> 01:41 AM) It's within the control of the White Sox to decide whether or not this avatar is removed. I hope the administrators don't force our hand because several are upset our team is wetting itself. The albatross...it flies. EDIT: Why was this poster banned? Did he violate board rules? In fact, the administrative team always preaches fans of other teams are welcome. It's not like the guy was wrong.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 16, 2005 -> 08:09 AM) Mark Buehrle is slowing his arm motion on his change up. It has nothing to do with not being an Ace or being tired. When you know what is coming, the odds are much better that you are going to hit it. He needs to go back to the tape he watch of Santana and figure out what he was doing to tip off that pitch. Case in point. Buehrle's consistant immunity is really getting out of hand. The guy deserves to be blasted right now. Until he proves otherwise, Buehrle is far from "ace" material.
-
Soxtalk grants Mark Buehrle a collective immunity. That's that.
