  1. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 02:27 PM) Tough one for Oz, he's gonna get questioned no matter what, especially if the pen s***s all over itself, remember last opening day? Uh we don't talk about that game anymore
  2. I think Ozzie went to the Carlos Tosca school of SP management though so who knows.
  3. That pitch counts leads me to guess he goes 8 if all goes right
  4. I'm not saying this start vindicates me but I always thought the rumors of his demise were greatly exaggerated. Look at his Ws start against the Cards for one example that he still can go. He may not hit 97 but he didnt forget how to pitch either
  5. The minimum might be 36 if we don't get the damn bats going
  6. Didn't Beuhrle face the minimum in a 2 hitter last year? Wasn't that at Cleveland too?
  7. Dmitri needs to come here. Hawk has a man-crush on him. That guy would fit on this team with the way he plays. Not at that money, but still
  8. I guess there really is no nine hitter. If Gooch doesn't stick at 2 he'd fit there. Otherwise I gues AJ is too slow to hit there. Maybe Ozzie is right about this, but WIllie should go there when he plays
  9. Yeah good to see that from Dye. BTW, I f'n hate having Uribe hit 9. I'd hit him 7
  10. yahoo is dropping the ball on box score pitch counts
  11. I bet he doesn't finish the season with them. They'll release him if not by the tend of camp.
  12. Varitke had a few hits. It went fine. THose who had the Yankee guys like A-Rod, Matsui, and Sheff di pretty darn good
  13. Mantei was throwing hard as usual but yeah his line wasn't good. It's hard to tell off one outign against that lineup though. I was hoping Mo would get a save chance for me but it wasn't a close game
  14. yep. Even though it doesn't SEEM like a dominant Unit performance, the numbers tell you it is.
  15. yeah we need more posts in the wrong spot calling people gay from a new guy. Whatever you want boss
  16. I'd root for the Yanks over the Cubs. It's too deep for me to ever root for the Cubs. BTW, 2 Unit K's in the first
  17. That is why I never got the pity party for Red Sox fans. They are more full of themselves than just about anybody. Their fans are just brutal.
  18. anybody else hate how few games there are tomorrow? There should be 14 games played tomorrow only excluding the Sunday night teams. With the Sox not available here in So. ILL and the Cards not on until Tuesday-I'm stuck with bad national games
  19. no it's not wrong These two teams are just about as unlikeable as they come in my book. Of course there is a team a little closer to home that is worse....
  20. Beanie: Six weeks ago Abdul here had a one way ticket to an arranged marriage with a broad he never met in Bangladesh. Now he's crushing ass every Thursday night at our mixers
  21. Yeah I got Tek so it'd be nice to have a good start to week one. Is yours a head-head league as well?
  22. 37-1 and we're the underdogs? I'll take those odds.
