http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?gameId=240624104 I remember watching the game, but I do not recall the specifics. However, I do remember thinking he pitched well. His numbers were not that bad. Walks and hits were high for 5 innings, but nevertheless, 1 run against Cleveland is shutting them down, IMO.
-
I never understood why they were in such a big hurry to get rid of Rauch. Supposedly that deal where he left early was cleared up. Then, the guy comes out and shuts down Cleveland. He was out 5th starter answer, IMO. I would have much rather traded Diaz there.
-
As it stands now he pen would be: Takatsu Marte Politte Adkins Cotts Diaz/Munoz/Grilli/Bajaneru Honestly, not that bad. I would have to say that 1 more arm is needed. I would be comfortable going with: Takatsu Marte Politte Adkins Cotts FA signing

Who will have more wins by Jan 2?

Wasn't it because they had someone waiting in the wings who could supposedly take over the C position? No, wait, my mistake. I think Ron Mercer was included because Trenton Hassell was emerging as a solid player. What the hell got into Jerry Krause toward the end there? -

Agreed. I think it's too early to give up on Gordon. Seems like The Bulls do that with their young guys. Ala............Brand, Artest, Brad Miller, Hassell........etc.. Although probably good thing Artest is gone. I don't remember him being an idiot with The Bulls though. -
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't there times last season where Adkins was very very good. It appeared to me that he got worse when Politte went down and his workload went up. With that being said, I'm high on Adkins but not sold on Politte. Can anyone offer any info on Cliff?

It just seemed to me that The Lakers got every call tonight, especially Kobe. I think Ben Gordon is going to be fine and I really did not expect this out of Deng. Another painful learning year will hopefully turn into some good ones down the road. I like the core of this team. -
Mediacom doesn't have it. When I spoke to someone at Mediacom they told me they weren't sure if they were going to get it or not, but added my name to a list of inquiries about it. My only option right now is Directv.

I'm the exact opposite. I like Adkins.

Wasn't Nomar pouting last offseason though when he was alomst traded to The Sox? I seem to remember reports talking about him not wanting to come here?
-
I think Randy can dominate just about any hitter in the league. Message to Kenny Williams: Git R Done
-
Yeah, unfortunately some of us that are stuck with Mediacom cable are still sweating out whether they ar going to pick up Comcast or not.
-
IMO, Adkins and Cotts numbers do not reflect the season they had. I believe that Cotts ERA was high because of that 1 start and Adkins ERA blew up toward the end because he assumed Politt'e role and wasn't ready. I believe they both will be good and eventually starting.

Here is what I know about him: 1. was a main player in the Robbie Alomar Mets deal 2. Once considered a 5 tool prospect 3. Has been compared to Coco Crisp of Cleveland 4. Is very injury prone Here is what I want know: Does he fill The Sox needs of defense, speed, on base %? Will he be given a chance in Spring Training?

What about Travis Lee as a 1B option?
-
Personally, I liked the Ron Jeremy moustache he was sporting last year in Montreal, but hey that's just me.
-
I would take Nick Johnson. Healthy, this guy is a stud.
-
Typo on my part. I meant to put 2,000th in there.
-
Mo Vaughn filed for free agency last week to clear himself off The Mets books for 2005.
-
I will do the same.
-
Hell, why do The Pinheads have to pass, let's snatch him up before they can.
-
Yes, without a doubt that made us talented, but the talent didn't translate into a division title.
-
How were you able to do that? I apologize for all the questions. I have a million ideas for sigs that I want to try to make.
-
I hope your right. I hope everyday that he says yes to The White Sox and a trade is done. God, how I pray for this. Please, RJ, accept the Sox and come to The South Side.

3.4 million is resonable for Garland at this point. He is way too young to give up on. Don't get me wrong he frustrates the crap out of me, and I wouldn't object to trading him, but if we avoid a higher arbitration number by doing this, then so be it.
