What gives u reason to think this?? Besides there resumes, what more do you know about these guys, have u ever played for them?

I believe Kris will probably go to AA Birmingham and could warrant a promotion, possibly very quickly if he has quick sucess. Don't count Kris out if some pitchers on the White Sox get injured, he has dominating stuff and good have value in the bullpen in the latter part of the season IF he is sucessful in his birmingham and possibly Charlotte stint(s).

Wow, Im shocked KW will give McCarthy a shot, I really would like to see what he can do at the ML level but I thought they didnt want to rush young guys like kip and garland. Im surprised I haven't heard talk of signing oddalis perez, he was in a lot of trade last offseason of going to us for konerko.

"We've been targeting him for a few years now"-Ya, go pay 5.5 millon for 2 years for a guy that hasnt had an era below 4.45 since the last century. Also, why didnt u get him for nothing after his horrible year with the redsox, that was less than 3 years ago, u couldve gotten him for nothing. Now we have Munoz,JBaj and Diaz-1 or 2 of them should have had relief jobs next season and I strongly believe that ALL 3 of them are better than hermanson. KW, you are a hypicrit and settle for less than mediocrity, this is a very sad day. PS.Don't give me emergency starter crap, we can get an emergency starter for under a million.

Well, lets say McCarthy has a 20% chance of becoming the pitcher hudson is. He has 6 years in which he pitches for us for very little cost and if he does become a hudson we have 6 years of it. I wish i could get into this more detalied but im getting tired.

Stop comparing them. Vazquez was very overrated in the NL. First off, the NL has weaker hitters and a pitcher that hits. Vazquez was in a literally no pressure environment. Vazquez really didn't have that great of stats outside of his K/9 stat. His ERA's were good but he really did have 1 really good year and thats it if u look at his career closely.

Hudson has 1 year left on his contract.

But it is a guarantee he will have 1 out of his 4+ AB's at least leading off. It also is a good way to set it up for the better part of your order.

I am glad KW isn't a hypicrit and will go after Delgado again after the failure midseason. This gives all the more reason to do the RJ trade.

I would definetely do the hudson trade. I see no value in Willie Harris, there are other teams that do. He really has no potential and would be happy to rid him for this great value. Carlos Lee is replacable. We have Everett,Rowand, and Dye. That is a descent outfield IMO and we have 2 top outfield prospects coming up through are system as is. So looking toward the future(4-6 years) are outfield could look like this-Sweeney, Anderson, Rowand. This seems very foolish to me. I believe our team would be more talented but it's not good spending of our offseason money. If Kenny really wants/wanted vazquez and gordon, why didnt he sign them last season??? And Vazquez's value is drastically down from before. It would be a very foolish move, if you are planning on trading garland, you could find much better value than this. I like konerko but with his 8 million salary(I believe he wouldve gotten 8-10 million this year as a free agent) it is somewhat of a push.

Arnie's my boy. Liked him since last year, and I did even through his montreal outing. There was a previous thread where I claimed he will be a dominant reliever and will become a top setup man for us with a sub 2.50 era by the end of the season. 2 or 3 people were laughing at me. I have saved that thread so that come October when we win the world series in large part thanks to munoz, i will be laughing at them.

I dont want renteria if he is going to cost more than 6 million which he will. His stats will go down because he is in the horrible NL and he has a very low obp as is.
