How bout we just get rid of him-PERIOD, for practiclaly nothing in return. We have Escobar,Everett, Gload, Borchard, & Harris all vying for bench time ni the outfield, and Timo hasnt become a neccestity to us, and we will save 1 million from ridding of him(Dont get me wrong; I do like timo, more than any of the OF i listed outside of everett; But at 1 million$, it is a poor investment)

Aaron Rodgers-Almost a lock at #1 until a poor showing at the holiday bowl(Ive never seen a QB throw the deep ball so well though). Could be a top NFL qb if he stays healthy and adjusts to the speed of the game. Tedford is known as a great QB producer although Akili Smith,Kyle Boller,Joey Harrington, and Trent Dilfer were his main players he devloped. Alex Smith-Hard to read because of the shotgun happy offense. Jason Campell-Sleeper pick. Could turn out to be a solid signal caller. Dan Orlovsky-Extremely overrated. Bad accuracy and not that good of arm. "Intangibles" and "leadership" which are BS IMO are why he will be drafted. (This is not my ranking just my opinons on players i know most about)

Ronnie Brown is the 2nd best RB in the draft next to Benson. Cadillac is the most overrated player since Eli. May be some suprise picks by teams at the RB position.

Hermanson is horrible, KW is a liar(we targeted him 3 years!),he will suck especially in the AL, Adkins is small minded, he cant come in in the clutch, in order to pitch, there has to be a 5+ run differential in the 4th-6th innings. Anyways, I want to make my point on hermanson and that KW lied. We couldve gotten him under a million dollars(which i still would be pissed about but w/e). Now we have him at almost SIX MILLION for 2 years, a guy who will be a RELIEVER! OSUNA WENT FOR 800,000!-AND HES BETTER! Now, IM gonna get s*** like "Hermanson has the ability to close" or "Emergency 5th starter". Well hed be horrible in any position he is placed in.

Personally, I feel that Rowand is worth of starting in CF but not because he's better there than Podsednik. Whenever Rowand played right field during the season he looked very uncomfortable, and from looking up his stats there, he had a below 900 fding pct and poor hitting statistics when playing there. Now, I am not a big defensive statistics guy because often they are very misleading(ala carlos lee-Id like to add that I was made fun of by multiple members, especially qwerty, cuz they felt he was a good LF purely from no errors and range rating-well now we know that me and once he was traded, his teammates and coaches bashed him for effort in LF). THESE STATS MEAN NOTHING. RANGE IS FAR MORE ON WHO PITCHES THAN WHOSE FIELDING. Anyways, got a little off topic. Rowand should be our CF.

I was about to write that. I mean, the whole burke situation seems very odd. He's demoted right before soxfest(thats not like kenny!), so I personally just expect we'll have only 2 catchers, which is fine and makes sense since our bullpen is overloaded(Hermanson :finger ). But now we bring in TWO catchers to be invited too camp, very confusing and doesnt amke sense at all. I mean, somebody has to want burke at least for a BENCH spot. Now, this isnt to say i like burke, cuz i really dont, but it seems as a waist of invites to invite these catchers.

Crede is a very interesting player. From weight management to his long swing, it seems as if his problems are all fixable but that has not been the case. His play in september was great, and was what wouldve been the ideal situation all season. 30 hr, 90 rbis, 70 runs, 275 average over a whole season approxamately. Also, his hitting drastically declines as he falls farther back in counts. He does not know how to hit with two strikes. Anyways, my point is, his problems are fixable and we can only hope he took this off season to fix them and then some.

The only guy that IMO would be an improvement is NGUG!!!!!!!!! Mike Nugent of the buckeyes. He is a clutch kicker(doesnt feel pressure) has a great leg and overall good accuracy.

Durham for Adkins trade deadline a couple years ago with the ATHLETICS

Id actually have to go with pierzynski, i like characters, especially when it comes to talking with the media and I like how he plays the game(effort and attitude wise)

Id definetely would rather have adkins dealt, he cant handle pressure situations, even 7th and 8th inning situations. He would muster up a good era and ozzie would put him as a setup and hed fail, this happened a couple of times and shows his mental attitude, i dont want guys like that on our team and we could get value in return, however i doubt KW would want to trade him, its almost a matter of pride in the fact that he traded durham for him.

I am the biggest believer in walks there is, its a very important statistic, and shows a lot about a player. BUT.........AJ is a catcher and there are few good hitting catchers-AJ is. He lead the NL in RBI's for Catchers and here is my analysis of his obp........ The first half AJ had a 350 obp, the 2nd-281. I believe this was because he couldnt adjust to the National League, San Fransisco(west coast),poor clubhouse atmosphere(bonds), and players and the media all over him. His 350 obp is much more reflective of him as a hitter. In his 2003 season with the twins he had a 360 obp-thats about what Victor Martinez had last year. So, Mr. Pierzynski produces runs, is a top 10 catcher, makes contact consistantly, and Mr. Konerko can beat him in a foot race...........(From Ben Davis/Jamie Burke's production to Aj Pierzynski's, theres a HUGE difference)

Harris and Politte would be who id try to trade. The loss of either one of them wouldnt really hurt the sox. We have a crowded bullpen and id in fact be happier having jbaj or munoz be on the team than politte. Harris still has value.

I dont blame ozzie for that, Marte has proven quite a few times now that he cant handle the pressure situations, especially on the road. That said, Marte is electric and in the 7th/8th inning or one hitter in the 9th, he can be dominant and I think Ozzie realizes this as well.

Id love Durham and it would seem that the giants wouldnt be that against dealing him but reports of MArte being involved fears me. The Giants have Deivi Cruz,Omar Vizquel,Edgardo Alfonzo, and Ray durham for 2b,ss,3b. Being that they acquired cruz this off season, it wouldnt surprise me if they wanted to trade durham all along. His contract is high and they are a team that would want some young talent. Willie Harris and either Adkins,Diaz, or JBaj I would venture to think would be enough for them to pay the rest of Ray's contract as well. I miss big Ray........

That is not true. We would have gotten a sandwich pick or 2 if we had him until the end of the season(Btwn 1st and 2nd round and btwn 2nd and 3rd round). For the 2 million more we had to pay durham for that season, those draft picks would have been much more valuable than adkins.

I would be thrilled if Stone is our color guy next season although it seems unlikely. I can't listen to DJ and Hawk, i haev to mute the tv and turn the radio, I love Stone and he was pretty much the reason I would watch cub games. TWO THINGS HOLDING THIS BACK: Stone is fair and says what he thinks honestly although he doesnt do things just to get attention/Hawk never says a bad thing about a sox player,management,etc. which besides is horrible game calling is why i never listened. But the point is, I couldnt imagine these 2 having chemistry with each other. Also, I have seen posts here that DJ signed a 5 year extension, that would in all likelyhood completely nix our chances of getting stone so do u guys have a link for that?

Plaxico would change our team greatly although with our needs west coast offense, it seems illogical to bring in a guy who doesnt have top notch speed and this is the reason i doubt theyd go for plaxico. Im stoked for the draft. I hope we can somehow get like an 8 and 15 pick through angelos ways. Mark Clayton would be great and the proclaimed next Roy Williams, Thomas Davis would give us one of the best secondaries in the league.
