I think he’s probably on vacation somewhere. I think Urban is done at OSU. I believe they are probably thinking of exit strategies to make both him and the university look as best as they can. Story is crazy though how he’s not the one who has domestic violence against him, he seemingly tried to help a guy he considers a friend, gets burned by the guy and eventually makes the tough decision to fire him and he’s still gonna get burned at the stake. I know Urban is a scumbag, but I didn’t think this was near his worst offense. Flip side is this - when did the AD know that Urban knew? Probably around the same time they both decided to fire him.

Where’s RockRaines to provide clarity?

In any rebuild, you're going to acquire assets that just bust for whatever reason. It's just the nature of the beast. It's why prospects are called prospects and not "Future Superstar". I think many people have to realize that the Cubs rebuild went way better than expected. They pretty much hit on everyone which I can't really recall ever happening. With that said, we are 4 months into a rebuild and it's asinine to me that fans can be calling for the heads of the FO.

I wonder if Phillip Rivers retires now. He said before, LA is no place to raise his kids. He detests LA. As far as the Chargers, if they're good, LA fans will show up. It's funny though, the two teams LA didn't want, they got. While Vegas might get the team they didn't want.

Paxson, like Kenny Williams, tried to quit, but JR wouldn't let him. In addition to that, Gar will never get fired because his and his wife's relationship with Michael Reinsdorf and his wife. Hell, Gar's wife runs Chicago Bulls charities with Michael's wife. They're all best friends. It'll take a year at least of Bulls fans chanting "Fire Forman" for them to even consider it. Most Bulls fans don't know who's really running the show, so that chant won't be started.

Hey guys, Nite from Oak Lawn; first time caller, longtime listener. One deal I think they should make is Robertson for Soler if the Cubs are willing. They have a logjam in the OF, Soler needs to play everyday, Cubs need a closer, but don't want to break the bank on the Jansen/Chapmans of the world. To me, it makes too much sense. I'll hang up and listen.

You only trade Sale for prospects you won't be able to get at the deadline or next year if you deal him now is my perspective. That means, Bregman, Benintini(sp?), Moncada, etc. The rest of the roster should be up for grabs though.

I had a Surface Pro 3 and it was probably the best machine I ever owned. I used the main dock which had sliding ends to plug in. Apparently, now they sell a USB Hub style docking station that I'm not a fan of. Anyway, the machine was a beast. I'd write notes in OneNote, use Miracast to send it to any one of our Flatscreens in the conference room, configure switches and routers and at home. It was by far the best tablet I ever owned, and laptop I ever owned. But hey, some say cucumbers taste better pickled. As far as the FireTV, I have a few of the sticks with Kodi on them. Easy to install. I want to try a FireTV though which gives better performance, or perhaps a nVidia Shield.

With any deal, you have to aim for near ready guys who have been nothing more than September call-ups. Anyone who is already up will severely limit the other pieces you get. The White Sox need quantity as much as quality. 3 good near-ready players > 1 great player and mediocre/bad prospects. So if you're aiming for Urias, you're not going to get Bellinger & De Leon to go with him. If you're aiming for Mookie Betts (just an example), you're not getting Moncada and Devers to go with. A 1 for 1 deal does the Sox no favors. They need a minimum of 3 good players in any trade.
