I think the Bears have to control the clock to beat the Saints or Rams. They have to give their defense a breather. If they play into a shootout, their defense will hold up for 3 quarters max.

Correct, but say Harper wants to go to the Dodgers and is willing to take 30 million a year to make it work. The Sox offered 35 mil a year. He's waiting on the Dodgers to make moves to give them the 30 mil a year they need.

Honestly, this is the best plan over anything else. Get two top players in baseball who will be great for awhile, mix them in with the youth and let it roll. They have the cap space. Then they can let everything else sort out in a few years in terms of who should be paid. I think cost controlled players would be coming back only.
