Rose should be attacking Rondo, you can tell hes hurting a bit. Don't let Allen get hot.

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Apr 20, 2009 -> 06:56 PM) As annoying as Rondo is,u shouldn't hope a player gets hurt, thats weak. Hows this any different from all Bulls fans to root for Garnett to be out for the series? Because with him we don't win game one. Just want that Bulls win any way we can get it.

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 20, 2009 -> 06:41 PM) Miller's playing fantastic! Good thing because last game he wasn't. Were blocking just about every shot they put up, good defense but at same time giving them too many second chances. Improvement upon the first quarter though.

What type of baseball player would you be?
Well I was always a 1 or 2 hitter but when I was put in the 4 spot I was clutch. Was fast and stole good amt of bases, wasn't a big power threat but I hit them. I loved fielding though, played SS and CF, probably my best part of my game was fielding. I'll be realistic and say I would compare myself to a Jason Bartlett. Pitching, I had decent movement, was fairly finesse, wasn't a hard thrower but I could go a lot of innings. not much of a strikeout guy but I got a lot of groundouts. Guess maybe a Jamie Moyer or Bronson Arroyo.

tommy needs your help
Add Maholm and reap the next couple of quality starts he gives you and sell high! Hoffman is a must add for you imo. You could use a closer and he should come back and be just fine because Milwaukee needs help lol.

Senseless Violence
Its just a shame, at a loss for words. Jeff Engelhardt is a good friend of mine and I knew his family well. All really nice people, shocked this happened, even Howard seemed normal when I had met him once.

Sox at Tigers April 15th game thread 12:05 scheduled first pitch
I like the White Sox traditions commercials but the sodfather one is lame. Theres something I like about Lilly from seeing him play but he can't hit, wheres Nix or Getz when you need them.

Wise to DL with Separated Shoulder/Anderson to Start in CF
Shame, seemed like his bat was starting to come around. Heck of a catch though. Who gets the callup then?

A message for K.W.?
QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Apr 8, 2009 -> 05:28 PM) Whoopsy. Hmm, well I wonder what other names are out there - CFs who can hit a ton and are nearing a payday. Anyone help? Really only 2 players I think you consider in free agency is Dave Roberts and Podsednik, give them a minor league contract and see where it goes from there. No harm in trying.

Lets start this season off with a win. And I'm still yet to see an opening day game, stupid postponement.

QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Apr 6, 2009 -> 06:59 PM) buehrle could get lit up tomarrow and we wouldnt be worried. it is like u said the first game Buehrle getting lit up on opening day is nothing unusual however. Seems he struggles the first game every year. Would be nice to get the first win on the first gm though.

2009 AL Central Thread
I really don't see whats so good about the Tigers ESPN. Really not all that impressed with their lineup or pitching for that matter. And yet they are considered an option to win the division, highly unlikely I took them to finish last. Royals lineup and pitching is much better.

Getz #6, Fields #8 on list of Top 30 "breakout"
What do they mean by 'breakout'? I mean Corey Hart at number 2, he had a good season last year, I can see him hitting for better avg and increasing production some but he brokeout last year. Votto of course should be higher and Maybin should even be on this list imo. Other than that its solid.
