QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 12, 2008 -> 02:52 PM) Now that we lost the opener, I think we'd all be ecstatic with 2 of 3. Ain't gonna be easy. First it's up to Danks and getting him some support. I expected us before the roadtrip to win 4/6 so hopefully we can take the next two vs the Rangers. If so I'm a happy camper. Or at the least be in first during the all star break.

QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 9, 2008 -> 10:00 PM) I feel bad that I CSI'ed the plot, i.e., I figured it out 45 minutes in. All in all, Hancock was so so, still entertaining like all Will Smith movies. Saw Vantage Point finally, I liked it, had that 24 feel to it.

QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Jul 7, 2008 -> 05:32 PM) I thought the premise was cool. However, the execution left something to be desired. That's putting it lightly. Is it really that bad? I've been looking forward to seeing it. Some people told me they liked it and some didn't like it because it was hard to follow.

Thought of another idea. How about, favorite restaurants. Could also include fast food.

QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jul 3, 2008 -> 12:34 PM) A guy on Mike&Mike just said the colors they're looking at for the Sonics new ones are red, white, and blue. *puke* No kidding, very original I was searching the internet for what team name the OKC team might use and have seen the name Bombers and Outlaws come up often in discussions. Can't picture that color scheme fitting with either name.

Just pick Rose already, don't drag it out for 5 mins.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 02:05 PM) Clippers acquired the 4th pick and will be taking bayless, imo. However, getting the 4th pick does give Miami a guarantee that if they move down they'd get a PG to put next to Wade. Richard Jefferson traded to the Bucks for Yi & Simmons Wow, nice trade by the Bucks, get rid of Yi who never really fit in with Milwaukee and his agents didn't want him there.

Cabrera has been doing a good job in the leadoff spot no need to change the order up.

QUOTE (DBAH0 @ Jun 25, 2008 -> 07:04 PM) Now the Pacers just need to dump Tinsley. But O'Neal will actually rebound and play defense unlike Bargnani who'll only jack up 3's. Good trade for both teams. I was sold the Pacers would end up taking Augustin until this trade. I don't see why they would need him now with Ford and Tinsley around unless of course they do move Tinsley.

QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jun 25, 2008 -> 06:45 PM) Jermaine O'Neal to Toronto? http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives...oining_toronto/ O'Neal and Bosh in the frontcourt? That will work. Its now official Pacers trade Jermaine Oneal Raptors trade TJ Ford, Rasho Nesterovic and 17th pick in draft Nice move for both teams, if Oneal can stay healthy he and Bosh could be real fun to watch side by side.

Maybe put his birthdate on your arm or something like a band. Idk.

So I bet next time if Ozzie is asked if he could have any Cubs player play on the Sox for this series who would it be, instead of saying Pinella he would say Ramirez. He has just lit us up this series.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Jun 21, 2008 -> 02:57 PM) whats up with the stupid girl singing that gay ass Cubs song with a Red Sox shirt on? Probably drunk from the fumes of beer in the air and just doesn't know any better. God I hate that song.

The ball bounced off of something. Personally, I think it hit the foul pole, what else would it have hit. I know this picture isn't that good but theres nothing directly behind the foul pole that makes me think the ball didn't hit it. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1096/144527...0af3deb04_o.jpg

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 20, 2008 -> 05:30 PM) Linebrink has been our best pitcher this year, why wouldn't he be in the game? It might not be his job to pitch in the 9th but it's also not Bobby's to be in during a tie ball game. You guys are just finding things to b**** about right now. The bullpen had an off night, it happens, get over it. Why do you care? The thread is labeled "White Sox Loser" for crying out loud, you should know before entering its gonna be full of a bunch of people arguing on the reasons why we lost the game. Because its a Cubs/Sox series and both rivals hate each other from a baseball point of view I am going to be pissed about losing to the scrubs and will bicker. If it was any other team I could care less if we lost since this is really our only intense rivalry.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 19, 2008 -> 10:59 PM) Can you think of any other series in Chicago history bigger than this one? In regular season history, of course. And I'm not saying a series in which we clinch the division when we're up by 8 games. I mean a real, meaningful series. Considering two Chicago clubs are in first place and deservedly so ... I say this is the biggest series in Chicago regular season history. Couple of requests: Somebody who goes to all three games ... please keep track of all the fights in and outside of the park. Also to those Sox fans who normally don't go to Wrigley, please post things that annoy you about the park and let us know if it's as dirty as people claim. Biggest series between the two Chicago teams, yes since both teams are at the top of their divisions while facing one another for once. Biggest Chicago series, no.
